Anyone roll a minivan?

My H is trying to convince me to get a minivan next year. I immediately said HELL NO...then after looking at the links he sent me, I started to at least CONSIDER it. The pros I can see: plenty of room to walk from the front to the back (totally safe, right? ), room for 2-3 car seats, a dog, kids can get in and out faster, the built-in DVD players, and we can fit the 75 bags we take on every road trip. Part of his argument is also that it fits his ice house. Um, yeah - good reason for ME to drive a minivan? Well...I am starting to lean towards saying yes. If my car is going to be covered in sippy cups, graham crackers, pacifiers and and random pieces of baby clothing.....does it really matter if I have a Honda-CRV (current car) or the Honda Odyssey? More space would sure be nice....

Tell me what you drive...and if you have a minivan, PIP yourself w/ your van for bonus points.

    We currently have a Chevy Equinox, but my H really really wants to the Traverse for the 3rd row. *sigh* We'll likely get it next year as we want to expand our family, but also have room for other people in the car. :P

    I have a Chrysler town and country. It seats 7 comfortably and we have room for all our crap. No pictures of me swaggin in my waggin...ill get on that tomorrow :)

    I'm so glad you posted this... I was about to post to see what all the ladies recommended. I test drove a Grand Caravan today and it was pretty nice. We're not ritsy enough for a Honda/Toyota... and I hate egg shaped vans.. so it's either a newer Dodge or Chrysler.

    @bransonsbecca - so much to consider with a new van! I actually took my drivers test (at age 14 in ND) in a blue Chrysler Minivan...yep, PERFECT SCORE - I can totally parallel park a mini van...
