I think the problem is scale. They are too small for the space. If you keep them, I would put them by the dresser so you can use them to distract dc during changes.
I like them both, but agree with pp that you would need to watch when dc is old enough to make sure they are not pulled down. Fwiw, dd has never even touched our tree decal that covers a whole wall. It is certainly safer than a large frame over the crib. I broke that rule with a plastic frame that is very strongly anchored to the wall.
Ive seen the quote "first we had eachother, then we had you, now we have everything" with that decal and its so cute I think other pps are right it needs something a little more... so a quote, or a tree or something might work
