Goodbye ladies! Looks like I'm on my third miscarriage. Had my levels checked Tuesday and they were over 11,000 but I just started bleeding. So sick of this crap. 
Ok ladies I guess right now I'm still in. They checked my levels today and they have more then doubled. I have no clue what's going on. On the 13th they were 11,400 and today they were 29,500. Can my body start misscarry while still doubling? I'm so confused. I have a recheck Monday unless it gets worse.

so here are my thoughts: bleeding doesn't always mean miscarriage (though it's CERTAINLY scary and cause for concern, of course). it can mean you have a subchorionic hemorrhage that just started to bleed, or even a few other things i can't speak intelligently on due to a lack of personal knowledge.
i hope you ride this storm. let us know how monday's numbers look, ok?
i'm very surprised they didn't just give you an ultrasound. that, to me, seems like the most definitive way to assess what's actually going on inside.
I am so sorry for the rollercoaster you are on! Hopefully the doubling numbers are good news. FWIW, I've had a number of bleeds (sch's) in the past, during the early first trimester. If you are looking at my siggy and getting concerned, please don't. My issues had ZERO to do with the bleeding episodes.
Can you call your doctor and ask for an ultrasound? They should be able to tell fairly quickly why you are bleeding. Granted, you are on the cusp of when a heartbeat starts beating, but they should be able to tell if the sac is deteriorating or if you just have a SCH (subchorionic hematoma) <~ I thinks that is how it's spelled anyway.
