So I've recently started feeling them. It's not like when your eye twitches and its like a lot of times in a row, it's like one twitch, or feels like it. Could this be baby kicks?
yes yes yes!! I think I first felt them pretty low on my belly and they would happen pretty regularly! ?They developed pretty quickly into recognizable kicks!! ?How fun!
Might be, I had a similar feeling about a week and a half ago (right around 14 weeks or so), nothing since. I would describe it like a "flutter". But it could also be wishful thinking....who knows?

Can I beat you up and take your kicks? I am jealous! Congrats, that is awesome!

No please don't! I will start to enjoy them instead of thinking...WTF is that?!..and..this child is grounded when it gets here! Who kicks their own mother?! tehehe..
I'm incubating Jabba the Hutt, then. I think I felt my baby for the first time today (17wks) and it didn't feel like twitches or kicks at all. Not even "fluttering," as I've heard it described. It felt really ...soft. Kind of like the stuff in my abdomen was just settling. You know, how melting snow kind of does? It'll be all fluffy for awhile and then kind of collapse on itself to change shape? I thought maybe it was gas (I hear this is a common confusion for first-timers like me) but I sat very still and waited. It happend for a consistent 15 minutes or so, and it didn't move around my belly like gas generally would, and it made NO SOUND.
I think I know what a bed feels like when someone's wriggling around trying to get comfortable. ^_^
13 weeks seems early, but that's exactly what it felt like to me. Like my lower abs had a muscle twitch. For the first week or two, I only felt them every few days. It quickly gets to be common, and it usually makes me smile, except when he kicks my bladder.
Re: random twitches in lower abdomen?
**butting in**

I started feeling them right around 16 weeks or so...

That's exactly what I started feeling at about 15 wks. I am still getting them but they haven't been as strong as they were a couple weeks ago.
It's so exciting to feel movement for the first time! I can't wait for the real obvious kicks!
