  I don't have any pictures, but we did a tea party theme for my sister's bridal shower.  We did (as pp suggested) tea sandwiches, salads (veggie, potato, pasta), chips, and pretzels.  Dessert was a cookie tray, heart and rose shaped candies, and I made a tea pot shaped cake (bake the cake in bowls and make the handle, lid and spout out of marzipan).  We had several teas and lemonade for beverages.

  We had a Strawberry Shortcake tea party for my DD's 5th birthday. The girls used real china teacups and saucers (apple juice for tea). Little sandwiches, grapes, and a strawberry shortcake-type cake - I'll see if I can find pics and post them tonight from home.

  i'm doing an alice in onederland tea party theme for DD next month. it'll be in the afternoon, so no need for a meal. we'll be doing: small sandwiches, biscuits and jam, cherry chocolate chip cookies, lemon blueberry cupcakes, random candy, shortbread cookies, fruit skewers, chocolate covered oreos, tea, iced tea, coffee. it'll be primarily adults and i clearly have a huge sweet tooth
