When did/do you find out your child's teacher? 

DD starts school next Wednesday and they post class lists on Tuesday at 5:00 pm.  I've heard good things about all the first grade teachers, but I'm still really eager to find out her teacher.  For kindergarten, they sent a letter a couple of weeks before school started and also had a meet the teacher day the Friday before school started.

    It went up on the website this past Monday at 7am. We went to meet them today. School starts Monday.

    DS started this past Monday. We got a letter last Tuesday and then had a "meet the teacher" night on Thursday. Our school does Kindergarten weird(IMO). They have a certain number of kids each day the first week and they are all together with all K teachers. They do assessments and watch them in the classroom. Then they assign classrooms. DD had her first day today. We will find out her teacher and have a meet the teacher Monday. She will go next Friday with just a few in her class and then start full time Aug 26.

    We found out the day we registered which was last Monday.  Meet the teacher is next Friday, school starts the 26th.

    We had registration last week (8th), which is where we find out teacher assignments. Back to school meet and greet is Aug 28th. School starts Sept 3rd.

    We got a letter a week ago today with teacher names. School starts Sept 9. I have no info on her teacher. She's new to the district and doesn't yet have a website or anything.

    They post the teachers two days before class starts. Basically, too late for too many parents to complain and giving them room to shift around for last minute enrollees. However, they screwed up and put in one the website with their grades, etc. earlier in summer so I know my oldest two assuming they don't change. They took it down quickly, but it got out so a lot of us know. The kindergartener I will have to wait until those two days before.

    Classlists are posted at 4pm the Friday before school starts. It's right after the big Kindergarten Ice Cream Social. No ice cream for the older kids, boo! :(

    "Meet the Teacher" happens during Back 2 School night about 2 weeks into the school year. It's so weird.

    C is starting kindergarten on the 26th. We find out on the 22nd.

    We found out last week. We're new to school, but I've heard good things about her and know she has a masters in elementary ed, which I like.

    Guess I'm the abnormal one.  My DD's school sent home a letter in her folder on the last day of school in June, so we've known for months.

    We got a call from their teachers shortly after they were registered, just saying hello and letting us know they were our child's teacher.  Then we had meet the teacher night two days before school started.
