Anyone have any Homeopathic ways to beat nausea besides ginger ale and crackers?

I wanted to know if anyone knows any other ways to beat the morning sickness. No actual vomiting, just the aching, dizziness, stomach pain and just no energy. :(

Re: Anyone have any Homeopathic ways to beat nausea besides ginger ale and crackers?

  • Small bland meals all day long help me a bit
  • Loading the player...
  • Mommy wellness tea, and Ginger drops help sometime... Mostly I just sleep...
  • I'm not sure if it's "homeopathic" but vitamin B6 has helped with my nausea.

  • It didn't work for me (but neither did zofran), but a lot of people swear by sucking on hard candy, such as lemon heads.

  • Sometimes drinking lemonade helps me. We buy the 15 calorie lemonade that isn't quite so sweet.

  • My doctor told me B6 or Ginger Candies...
  • Chewing gum or eating a mint has always worked for me, even when I'm not pregnant.

  • I just got a sea sick braclet hopefully it will work
  • A nice cool fresh air breeze on my face helps (like just opening the windows when I'm home) and eating lots of small meals and snacking constantly throughout the day for me. I also eat a lot of starch-heavy foods, like potatoes (canned campbells cream of potato soup!), and that helps too.

  • I've tried about everything. Hoping there will be a day in the near future when I won't be puking all the time! Such a tiny little thing causing so much trouble, lol.

  • I used the Sea Bands. I don't know if it was in my head or what but it definitely seemed to help.
  • Peppermint oil. I keep some dabbed on my hand and smell it throughout the day .
  • I tried breathsavers today and it really helped a lot!

  • My mom and sisters all had terrible hyperemesis, so I thought for sure I would too.

I've been wearing sea bands 24/7, taking 50 mg of b6 in the morning and another 50mg+unisom at night, and getting prenatal acupuncture/nausea herbs from my acupuncturist (my fertility clinic is a holistic health center and all the herbs are Dr approved). I have only had mild nausea and dizzy/faintness so far and will be 9 wks tomorrow.

Like pp's have mentioned, minty mother to be tea helps, a fan or a breeze helps, and nibbling constantly helps me too. Also just lying down when you need to.

GL and I hope you find something that works for you!

  • Peppermint tea has been the only thing that works for me. I make it extra strong....let it steep for a while! Also mint hard candies. Ginger did nothing for me.

  • I will second the peppermint candies. I was eventually put on Zofran, but when I was in the car it was pretty bad so I would also suck on the peppermints. They also helped decently before I was on the Zofran.

Sea bands saved the day (weeks) for me.
  • I noticed the other day I popped a listerine strip in my mouth and my crazy nausea went away. So I bought a tin of altoids and peppermint tea to go with it. ;)
  • The only thing that has finally worked for me is one unisom at night( which I know is in no way homeopathic but i ran it of ideas weeks ago) and a 50mg of b6 twice a day (once with the unisom). No I feel sick when I go hungry but no puking unless I don't take it. I wish I could find a natural way but I couldn't go back to puking all day
  • Oh and I support the sea bands! Thu help a lot
  • Its not really homeopathic, but my seabands have been awesome! I also find getting out and getting some fresh air seems to help.

  • I bought these hard candies from babiesrus that are meant to help with morning sickness. Of course they don't get rid of it, but it helps for the time being! GL!

I grate ginger root into a hot cup of water and it helps a ton. I also add some honey and squeeze some lemon. I literally just finished my cup right now! Also freeze the ginger root and grate it as needed. The ginger will stay in the freezer for a few months and grates very easily when frozen.
