MIL vent, again

My DH and I rented a dumpster today to clean out my MIL's hoard, she has decided not to be involved and is going out of town for a week. My BIL said he would help and as of this point has not retruned my DH's text/calls. My MIL is on my last nerve, last night she wouldn't even talk to be beacuse we are cleaning out our house for the LO. She continues to say she is moving out in January but I don't feel it's soon enough. We have owned this house for 6 or so years and she hasn't let us change a thing until now. With all the baby furniture coming in and nothing going out I'm going crazy. I feel a war coming on and I don't know if I will win. I kinda just want to move out, sell the house and get an apartment with DH. We haven't lived in one in 8 years, but I can't stand living with my MIL any longer. I'm over having an investment, I just want my own space for me and baby. Sorry this is so long. The end.

    Congrats on the dumpster. You will feel better when you get some crisp out of there. Hopefully YH is totally on board. If your mil doesn't want to be involved and is out of town, all the better!!!

    Oh I'm so sorry!! I know how you feel! My MIL is talking about moving in with me and DH. I don't know what I'm going to do. >:D<

    This post reminds me of the tv show Monster In-laws. I don't think I could ever live with any in law after watching that show.

    We just bought 's parents house, closing was yesterday infact. They have a house two hours away that they live in and we've been living here for two years. Every time we tried to clean up the yard because FIL has piles of cap everywhere, or clean out the house because they never took their stuff with them, we would get told that its not our house. I totally feel your pain! Now that it is our house, I've been going through stuff and making junk piles, burn piles and piles to take to them. I've taken MILs pictures down and started putting up our pictures. If they say anything, I can't wait to say that it isn't their house!

    Congrats on the dumpster! It must feel so liberating!
