GTKY: Dream Job?

So I'm sitting here at my desk not working.... I'm good at what I do (medical billing) but I don't like what I do. And while I'd give anything to be a SAHM, my dream job is to be a celebrity chef- complete with my own cooking show on Food Network!

What would you do if you could have your dream job? Or are you already doing it?

I work in I.T. Security, and honestly, I love it! I deal a lot with what internet traffic is allowed in and what traffic is allowed out, websites that should and shouldn't be blocked, and even investigating potential attacks and putting measures in place to stop it before it happens. I'd really like to continue down this path and even get my Certified Ethical Hacker title. It really is a fun job, but I wish people would be more accepting of what I do. I do feel like I'm always the bad guy: Yes, you have to change your password, No, I'm not unblocking this site for you. That part does get me down, so my dream job would probably be something like working in the same field for the FBI where security is really important and not just a nuisance.

I'm an Account manager for a large consumer packaged goods company. It's got lots of perks but high stress and pressure to make numbers. My dream job woul b to have my own travel show ! I'm obsessed with travelling and so is DH,have been to 34 countries world wide.

I'm a hearing aid technician, and I love my job. Honestly, I love it now after maternity leave than ever before. I don't know, maybe my perspective changed or something.

If I were to re-train for another career I think I would want to be a lab tech for a reproductive endocrinologist. I would love to make embryos that could potentially become the children of couples who have tried so hard. It would be so rewarding!

I love being a SAHM and a photographer

Pretty close to my dream. I've been in business a little over a year so ideally I would like to be consistently booked part time (maybe 2-3 sessions per week) and I'm not there yet.

I am a high school history teacher and love both teaching and history. I think it would be very cool to be a historian at a national park/historic site like Gettysburg or Pearl Harbor where I could share my passion for history to a wider audience and also train teachers. I also love traveling so being a travel photographer would probably be the ultimate dream job!

Although purchasing Cell phones and Blackberrys for employees is not my dream job, i technically work where ive always dreamt of working... Madison Square Garden...

Now that im here, i could work for the Rangers since i have a ton of contacts... but now my dream job is to be a SAHM and photography as a hobby
