I need strength and patience today!

So I agreed to watch my neighbors 4.5 month old son today because she's a friend and was in a bind for a sitter. He's only been here an hour and I'm already exhausted.

DD thankfully hasn't been too demanding but he has already had a blowout poop and cry session! And I am not used to formula poop-whew! Smelly! Props to you mamas.

Luckily he is down for a nap now and DD is playing in her crib. We'll see how long it lasts!

I need strength and patience today for sure!

    Good luck!  We started a baby-sitting-collective with two sets of friends who have infants close in age to DS.  So a few weeks ago one couple went to a wedding and brought their 9 month old to our house for the night.  DH's errands had run long or he had gotten stuck in traffic or something and I was with the babies for about an hour, trying to get DS ready for bed, wrangling the 9 month old away from the cat, making sure I had read the instructions on her formula correctly, and thanking God that he did not bless me with twins!
