I think this is where I belong.. Intro

Hello, I've been lurking for awhile trying to decide where I would post if I decided to get involved. I used to post on the nest a few years ago when trying to conceive our first. I think this is probably the best place at this point but please let me know if I should be on a different board.

A little Background:
We have a beautiful 2 year old daughter who was conceived after about 18 months of TTC. i was on BCP for about 10 years before we started trying. Labs normal, but US typical of PCOS. DH had SA with low count but RE wasn't concerned. Had 2 failed clomid cycles and one failed IUI with clomid and trigger. RE put me on metformin and I somehow conceived 5 days later otherwise unmedicated. We all agreed this was pure luck as met usually takes some time to truly regulate things.

Anyways, we counted our blessings and have enjoyed our daughter. I decided to get back on metformin in January 2012, and took it until April 2013. It regulates my cycles and I appeared to be ovulating but no pregnancies despite most cycles of good timing. Stopped met in April bc I was sick of the side effects and felt I was wasting my time. Started taking Maca root and amazingly my cycles are looking pretty good, based on charting and opks I've been ovulating around day 18 since May. Hubby just started taking fertilaid this month. Will be going back to the drawing board this fall if no luck as obviously we aren't having success. I just don't look forward to doing this all again and it's nice to know I'm not alone as everyone I know is having their 2nd, 3rd, even 4th babies. I really hope we can have one more but I know how lucky we are to just have one so I remind myself daily that it could be worse :)

TTC #2 since 2011 (took 1.5 years to conceive spontaneously after multiple failed clomid cycles and 1 failed clomid +IUI)
Me- PCOS, borderline hypothyroid
Him- low concentration/count

Feb 2014- started acupuncture
Feb 2014- BFP
March 2014- m/c @ 5 weeks
May 2014- HSG, all clear, started Synthroid, Femara 5mg CD 3-7 + trigger + TI= BFN
Waiting for new RE appointment end of July 2014

    Hi there... Welcome.  I do believe you are in the right place.  Sorry you have to be here, but glad to meet ya. 
    Your siggy is a pic of adorable little socked feet, and a counter of your little bean being 2 years, 2 months, 3 weeks and 1 day old.

    Could you educate me more on maca root? I've heard of it. I take Evening Primrose Oil...and a prenatal...I also have my hubs on Fertilaid for men (all 3 products) He has low count, poor morphology and motility.
