Aww... He just came in and told me how much he appreciates me being such a good mom. I told him I appreciate him working and making dinner every night. He said he has the easy job. In fact, he was telling a coworker today that I have the hard job

Aw! So sweet! My Dh has told me countless times how amazing I am for giving birth to our LO. I'd never seen him so stressed out. And he will tell LO "you have an amazing mommy"

... I definitely had some nights during the early breastfeeding days where I laid in bed crying. Those first few weeks are ridiculous.

We had a playdate scheduled for 11:30 this morning. DH knew my new camera was coming today and figured it would probably need signed for since it's $$. So he called FedEx to see and sure enough it did. So he asked what time it would be delivered. They contacted the driver and found out around noon. So I would have been gone. He knows how much I was looking forward to getting it and I totally didn't think about having to sign for it.

My husband has been incredible! He was so supportive during my difficult labor and c section. He works hard to keep the house clean, helps a ton to calm our gassy/fussy LO, and he is so supportive and always listens when I have bad days of feeling anxious or depressed. I couldn't do this without him.

My H has been totally responsible for washing and folding clothes over the last 8 years and we share the rest of the house work 50/50. Now that I'm home on maternity leave, I thought he would slack off but he hasn't changed a thing. I think he recognizes that I'm at work all day too, I just don't punch in or out.

I just love him. He helps so much with the house and would never expect me to have it clean when he gets home. I try my best, but right now I'm seriously nursing ALL day and can't even set him down for more then a minute. He also grocery shops and cooks dinner every night. Pretty awesome guy if you ask me.

@lavillar06 I just have to say I love this thread! I know some of us can get frustrated with our Dhs/SOs but its awesome to read what awesome things are DHs do too!

I was thinking that he was being so sweet tonight. I went to the gym and when I got back, he was rocking her and saying look how cute she is. Then he told me I look great. I can't believe what a good dad he is.

Dh and I are both teachers and love kids but he was nervous about bonding and "playing" with a newborn. His 2 younger brothers were adopted at 1 1/2 so he has no experience with newborns.

But he loves DS so much and love his cuddles with him. He's really good about changing diapers whenever I ask and he'll just do it other times (and we are using cloth!). He's back at work so I take all MITN changed during the week but he'll help on weekends

Now I just wish he would game less and help clean up a bit. He will if I ask but I wish he would take the responsibility on his own. But he's a great dad!

DH takes a shower with LO about four times a week. That is their sacred time. It is very sweet.

DH is just all around wonderful. He handles everything around the house and never expects me to do any of it. He has been so great about letting me get in small naps while he watches both babies! I also love that he still comes and just randomly gives me a hug and tells me how great of a mother I am. Don't know how I got so lucky, but I'm sure glad I did!

My SO has made me cry with how sweet he is several times since having the baby. He tells me all the time how great of a job I'm doing and how lucky Luke is to have me as his mama. He sees how hard breastfeeding is and he appreciates that I'm working so hard to be successful at it. I don't know what I'd do without him and his constant support and encouragement.

My H is constantly supportive. He always tells me what a great job I'm doing, and how wonderfully I "created" her for nine months. For a while after the delivery, he also kept saying how great I was and how impressed he is of me.

When he gets home from work, he immediately takes LO and plays her jazz music and reads a book to her. He is also in charge of bath time, which he loves. This gives me about an hour of me time every night, which is glorious. I love him so much! Having a kid has brought us even closer.

My DH has become the absolute tantrum-tamer with our 2.5 year old, and also sits for hours with him next to the potty. Last night, he pulled out his toolbox and has been doing research on how to fix the little guy's garbage truck. He also cleaned the garage and volunteered to do all the daycare pick-ups, even while I'm still on leave, so that I can focus on baby and dinner.

He's also awesome with the new little one, but keeping the 2.5 year old happy and content is really a huge huge help.

DH has been great. He admittedly was pretty spoiled before Lucas was born, but hasn't complained once that he's been put on the back burner right now and does anything and everything I ask him to do to help out.

Last night he told Lucas that Mama took really good care of him and when I was commenting about how cute Lucas looked, he said "Mama is pretty cute too, huh Lucas?". Just little comments like that that make me smile and remember how much I love him : )

DH took E last night and I slept 10-5am! We mix formula and expressed bm so he is able to give her the bottle. The other weeks he would take her first feeding which would give me a solid 5-6 hour stretch! Love him for that!

My hubs, who has previously been delinquent in housework, has been doing laundry, cooking, cleaning and all kinds of stuff that he's never, in 15 years done. It's amazing. I love him.

I love this thread too. I could not imagine going through all this without my husband. He's the best, and having this baby with him made me fall in love even more with him! When he comes home from working all day, he takes LO and tells me to go have me time to shower or whatever. He's so thoughtful, and seeing him with our daughter is so sweet!!

DH isn't great around the house with cleaning and stuff, but he is great with the little guy. And he's working 1-11, but took the 5 am and 8 am feeding two nights ago and let me sleep. I didn't get up until past 9! It was crazy!

Dh isn't the mushy type and rarely gives compliments. But I do love seeing him playing with dd. It's so sweet to see how much he loves his girl!
