DH went to work

So, I've been in prodromal labor fooooorever. I'm dilated to 5-6 and when I've gotten to this point in my other labors they've gone very quickly. However, I'm not in active labor. I'm just sitting here at home uncomfortable.

We have an induction scheduled for tomorrow morning at 6 am if I don't go into labor by then.

DH went to work this morning and he's supposed to be there for 24 hours. He can come home if I need him to. And we came up with a plan, to have our neighbor who is a cop drive me to the hospital and he can meet me there and to have another neighbor watch the kids until my mom can get here.

I'm still nervous. I'm mostly nervous about overnight. And I'm really nervous about the induction. But I feel like there's no other choice. I can't hang out forever this dilated.

Oh wow! Sounds like you have a good plan in place, so try to take it easy. Easier said than done, right?? I'm sure everything will be fine, I'm so excited for you and your family!! Hang in there, it's almost over, and you'll have your sweet new baby to snuggle!
