I will likely be transitioning to formula next month because I am returning to work in October. I have quite a bit of freezer stash in a deep chest freezer. Should I use it up right away and continue BM bottles for say another week or so or do you think its better to offer a bottle a day of it and spread it out? I am going to guess that by the time I transition I will have about 300 ounces.
Re: Opinions about stash
Maybe use some of your stash to mix BM and formula until he is used to just formula alone. I really just wanted to tell you how amazing I think a 300 oz stash is!

If you aren't planning to pump, I'd give her a bottle or 2 a day until your stash is gone and you could always still nurse when you are together. 2 four oz bottles a day on your stash alone would get him another month!

Right now he takes 2.5 to 3 ounces of BM from a bottle at night. I pump about 7 oz and stash the rest. When he goes formula i know they drink more of that than BM. Do I remain with the 3 oz that his normal BM amount would be for the BM bottles I give?
