So fruatrated!! Need some encouragement!

I'm probably going to sound like a baby, I know there are others of you out there that are going through harder situations than me, but after 8 years I'm just done! I've been on gonal f injections for 9 days now, 75iu for 6 days and 112.5iu for 3 days. Now I know this is only my 1st injects cycle, but my follicles haven't grown since my 1st mid cycle scan. The biggest is 10mm and all the rest are 8-9mm! WTH?! They've been that size since cd6! I'm just feeling frustrated because if they're not working at all now, will they ever?! Plus its a 2 hour drive to the RE and that's one way. On top of the meds and office visit bills. Just feeling super down today after this mornings scan...anyone have any encouraging stories??

3/13 - Clomid 50mg, days 5-9+ovidrel+TI = no response, induced AF
4/13 - Clomid 100mg, days 5-9+ovidrel+TI = 1 mature follicle - BFN
5/13 - Clomid 150mg, days 5-9+ovidrel+TI = no response, induced AF
7/13 - Clomid 200mg, days 5-9+ovidrel+TI = no response, induced AF
8/13 - Gonal F+Ganerelix+Ovidrel+TI+progesterone suppositories = BFN
RE break due to major health issues of my MIL
Began clean eating & TTC naturally for now

    So sorry youre having such a crappy day.  I dont have any experience with injects besides my current IVF cycle.  What does your Dr say the next step is going to be?  I hope you get it all figured out and get a good response.  ((hugs))

    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    Oftentimes that first injects cycle is a test to see how you respond. Hopefully you will have a growth spurt soon!

    I'm really interested in why they haven't upped your gonal-F if your follies haven't grown in several days. I was on 150 gonal-f for most of my cycles at a minimum...hmmm...

    I really hope this works for you...at least there has been some growth since the beginning, which is probably a sign that this will turn a corner for you eventually. FX! 
    | Married since 2008 | DH and I: Both 30 | Me: Endometriosis and Carrier of an X-Linked Dominant Genetic Disorder | DH: Low Morph | Planning IVF with PGD and PGS in 2013 | Freeze-All IVF #1: March 2013 ER 3/26. 29R, 12M, 11F. 4 5AA frozen blasts. Freeze-All IVF#2: May 2013 ER 5/15. 31R, 21M, 20F. 6 5AA frozen blasts. Our PGD probe was completed in late June (total of 20 weeks to develop). PGD and PGS Results came on 6/19: 3 healthy embryos (normal chromosomes and unaffected by my family's genetic disorder). FET #1: July 2013 Natural Cycle - Cancelled due to insufficient lining (only got to 7.5mm). FET #1.2: August 2013 - Medicated Cycle with Lupron & Estrogen Patches to build up lining. Single embryo transfer was 8/23. Beta #1: 240! Beta #2: 578! U/S on 9/19 at 6w4d: We saw the heart beating at 131bpm. Second U/S on 10/4 at 8w5d: We saw the heart beating at 178bpm. EDD 5/11/2014

    So sorry! Your RE may be cautious since it is your first IVF. Hopefully they will call with a new dosage tonight and things will turn around quickly. FX

    I'm really curious why they didn't up your gonal also, I am a slow early responder too and have had it bumped up both cycles and it did the trick, it is good your showing growth but with it being so slow I question why your RE hasn't increased your meds...?

    Well it's my first dose so they were starting out slow but I was surprises at how slowly they were increasing my dose. They called this afternoon and I'm supposed to increase to 150iu for the next four nights and go back in on Monday. Boo.

    Stupid auto correct, that's full of typos, but you get the idea. Also because I have pcos they wanted to take it really slow...this however, is too slow!

    This is probably not what you want to hear but, I was started really low and slow my first time because of my age and my pcos. While the added time at the beginning made my cycle long, it eventually kicked into gear and they did raise my med dose. I'm sorry you dealing with this. It's so very frustrating.

    *TTC since 10/2009

    *10/2010Tried 1 cycle of clomid 50mg with no results

    *12/2010 On break due to needing a new OB and money reasons

    5/5/12 Underwent exploratory surgery and had tubes blown out- no issues found

    5/5/12 DH had SA and numbers look great

    7/2102 50mg dose of clomid with ovulation and timed sex no results

    8/12 Clomid cylce #3- no success

    8/30 Went to see RE and we have decided to move onto IUI attempts

    10/18 IUI#1 BFN and cyst developed so on hold

    11/17 IUI cycle #2 BFN
    IUI #3,4,5,6 =BFN

    First round of IVF- 2 fresh transfered Beta=20, 37 than ended in M/C- Will do frozen transfer in Sept!

    I've been going every third day for u/s and b/w. It's longer this time because it falls on a Sunday and they're closed on Sundays.
