Deva hair care products

Has anyone used these?  Do you love them?  What about the smell?  I have a friend raving about them but after reading Amazon reviews I'm a little scared.

The curly haired gurus rave about their products, but aren't they kinda pricey? Do you have curly hair? I can tell you what I use, which is lower priced, silicone and sulfate free stuff I can find at target.
What do you use?  I have curly hair and haven't been using anything really specific for curly hair.  I noticed Deva was quite expensive.  I probably should look into what's recommended for curly girls.  I never realized there was such a thing until being on the Deva site.

They are expensive, but a liter bottle lasted me 9+ months and that was using it everyday. It doesn't lather so you don't need to use very much product. I used it for about two years and tried both no-poo shampoos and I remember one smelling much better than the other. I think I preferred the one that smelled the worst, too. Their alcohol free gel still made my hair crunchy and the cream obviously had no hold but worked pretty well when paired with hairspray. Ulta sells a travel set that may be worth a try. I only stopped using DevaCurl when more alcohol free products came on the market and now I use REALLY cheap products.

  • @NandaB dumb question, but how do you use the leave in conditioner before or after your hair is dry?
