  I think of Alice from Twilight, but she was my favorite character. If we had to do it all over again. Alice would have been one of DD's names

  @mj.reilly I feel like you are the one to ask this. Is there any way to access beyond the top 100 for the state of Maine? The name has gained a lot of popularity over the last 10 years and I am curious about my state.

  I love Alice. I wish it wasn't so close to my name (maybe we can MN it someday). I think it's the perfect balance of sweet and spunky. I don't think of Twilight. I'm pretty sure Alice in Wonderland is a much more pervasive connection.

  I love the name Alice. I wanted to name DD this after my grandmother but DH didn't like it for a first name. Luckily we agreed that it would be her middle name.  I think it is classic and pretty without being popular.

  I love Alice!! Would use it myself if I could. (And I never remember the Twilight association until someone brings it up, and I read the books. But didn't watch the movies. The books were more than enough teenage vampire drama for me.)

  I really like Alice. I don't actually associate it with any Alice in particular, just that I like the vintage feel of it and the sound.
  
  I know practically nothing of Twilight so... no connection there.
  
  (TBH if I were to associate Alice with anything, my first would be Seven Brides for Seven Brothers.

  I guess I have an UO but I don't care for Alice. It's boring to me. I think there are much prettier, vintage names out there.
