I'm with ya on that one. I'm not really into the shirts that say "daddy's princess" or anything like that. I also think they are extremely overpriced too. The only time I will buy Carter's is if they have them at Costco for a much lower price than the stores.
My UO is that I don't really understand how someone can come on here and ask questions that can easily be answered by google. I mean, it would be a heck of a lot faster to just do a quick search as opposed to waiting on here for someone to respond. It's not so much this board as the babies 0-3 months, 3-6 etc... Also, when they get advice they asked for they immediately get butthurt because it's not what they wanted to hear.
I find it weird when mothers chose to go to out & get chocolate wasted. I understand everyone needs a night off from their child but to go out and get drunk seems very immature.
I do not like it when people come here for just opinions on something and it is automatically assumed they are listening to random people over the internet.
I hate it how processed hamburgers cost $0.99 and somewhat processed salads cost $5.

When you said chocolate wasted, I thought you meant like candy overload. . I would totally be on board with that! I just really hate hangovers and they last forever the older I get, so no drinking to oblivion for me anymore.
I got one, I don't like to chime in on all the thoughts & prayers posts. I'm not sure I see the point... if a ton of people have already sent well wishes or sympathized, then I don't see the point in adding more. I also don't look to receive them. I'm all for a discussion or sympathizing with one another it's just the T&P's I don't get

Are you religious?
People who are religious believe that prayers heal. My grandmother would bet her right foot that a random stranger who came up to her and prayed with her healed my uncle's sickness.

Over sized headbands and bows on a little baby just look ridiculous! Keep it simple people!
I'll raise you one and say that any headband or bow looks tacky on a baby.
Aww, I think they're cute. I have a boy though, so it's a moot point.
@tondraluv I get what you're saying, but I think if it's very occasionally, everyone deserves a night out doing whatever they do to blow off steam. We left DS with FIL for a wedding and I drank like six glasses of wine... It was fun to have a night out, but taking care of DS with a hangover was pretty awful. (Six glasses of wine gets me pretty toasted at this point haha)

I don't think there's anything wrong with having a few glasses at all but to purposely get shit faced is another story. I know people (my coworker was actaully the inspiration for my post) who make this a weekly thing and literally come home stubbling in the door. She goes out to get drunk. I wouldn't want my child to see me like that.
I hate trying to figure our what all the abbreviations mean. We need a key somewhere. Also, I hate how loud my in laws are; the tv, the dogs, their voices. I don't want LO hearing damaged!

Especially in the water. (Yes, I just saw pictures on FB of a friend's 2 year old who had a bow in her hair at the beach and pool).
My baby wears a hairbow or headband everyday I think she looks adorable to each their own. I get compliments everywere we go,and I just love them. Also my 6 yr old sister loves bows, and big one's and she does not take them off at the beach or the pool lol Im guilty! sorry ladies!
@teddidan@ChicagoBroad26 You must have seen me at the mall today... DD was wearing a "tucked-in" onesie with pants AND we were shopping in Carter's, lol. To be honest though, Carter's is the cheapest store I have found in our area.

Look up "sacconejoly" on YouTube. They are Irish vloggers. The mom is so obsessed with her daughter wearing headbands coz she doesn't want ppl thinking she has a boy. The baby has a dent in her head now because of it. The baby hates it

Okay, but this is a little extreme. Plenty of babies wear headbands sometimes without getting dents in their heads.

I have never EVER heard the expression "chocolate wasted" before, and it made me giggle but I' not sure why because I'm not sure I get it?? :-)
The quote is originally from the movie Grown Ups, where Adam Sandler's character answers a table of kids wanting to know what being "wasted" means and he tells them it's a "hankering for ice cream". A little girl then yells out "I wanna get chocolate wasted!".
People now use it just to mean very drunk and they generally use the complete quote from the movie.
Bob: Let's hit up the bars tonight. Sam: Yeah, I could use a few drinks after all this studying. Kara: I wanna get chocolate wasted!! Everyone: (laughs hysterically)

I don't like the look of onesies with pants on. The "tucked in" look...
Bahahah! My immediate thought was "okay...so how would you avoid that, pants first and then onesie over top" and then I thought....WTH are you thinking. You can NOT do that. LOL

I had a co-teacher that would do this, and my thought was WTH are you doing that looks dumb. She didn't always do this, just on occasion. I even had at least one parent bring their daughter in that way. It doesn't look that bad on girls, it's almost like a leotard over tights kind of look.

I love headbands and bows..bigger the better as long as it doesn't cover her face!

I like Carter's clothes for boys, since they are cuter than boys clothes from other stores.
