I started the 30 day shred on Sunday and usually I fizzle put after 2 days...BUT today was day 4 in a row and after doing the 30ds I did 20 minutes of Kinect zumba! :) I am feeling pretty good right about now! Now only if results happened faster...

  • I bought the actual DVD today instead of just doing the 30DS from youtube. It was so, so, so much better! I'm doing it all with you! :)

    I'm glad someone is motivated. Do some for me will ya?

    Not to hijack the thread....but am I the only one who just doesn't care right now? I'm not a fan of "diets" as I think that eating healthy is a lifestyle choice and we pretty much do eat healthy but I could cut back on the desserts and weekend cheat meals. I have to make sure I eat enough calories or my supply dips and sometimes the extra calories is a cookie or bowl of cereal at night. Le sigh.

    It's the working out that I just don't care about right now. Pre-baby I worked out 5-6 days a week. Woke up and was at the gym by 6:30 every morning before work. A friend and I met there every morning and did a spreadsheet of P90X. Now, I just don't have any desire. It's shocking to me because I used to hate missing a work out. I think it's because I'm always tired. Anyone else still BF and feel tired all the time?

    My plan was to get to bed early and stay up after O wakes up at 5 to eat and then work out. Now she wakes any time between 4 and 5 and that's just too early. Ugh. Anyway, so you motivated Mamas just do some extra for me

    yep. I want to but when it comes down to it, I just don't care. I've tried to start the 30DS and I've gone out for a run ONCE. lol. my supply takes a hit if I don't eat enough calories and exercising just means ill have to eat more. so I don't. and yes, BF still makes me tired too!
    Glad I'm not the only one. Misery loves company, right?  >:D<

  • I'm trying to do the 10 minute trainer one. I did great the first week and then I skipped one and it's been spotty ever since. It's been two weeks already and I've gotten nowhere except for having sore abs. I just need to do it. it's 10 minutes for goodness sakes!

  • I am tires of looking in the mirror and seeing pudgy rolls staring back. I am having a hard time right now liking myself because of how I look and how my clothes fit, or don't fit is more like it. I have no excuse anymore as I am BFing anymore. I need to do this for myself and my self confidence. And if you remember my WTF Wednesday post...i had a student comment on my fat rolls...that was the last straw. So, that's why I am so motivated and I really hope to see some results here in the near future!

  • And you are awesome :). I feel the same way and sometimes get the motivation :). I'm trying to get in the habit and loose some weight before the 1 year mark and maybe that's too far of a goal and I need to say 30 days instead for 90 :). I figure if I even do 3 days it's better than nothing and I think that's what's killing me. I need to push it for 5 days at least :)

  • Thanks @techgoddess! Habits are hard to start but once you start one they are hard to break too. That's what I am hoping for. I am taking a rest day.today and even after just 4 days it makes me anxious to take a day off. I WANT to have Jillian yelling at me...lol

  • I thought I noticed a little less pudge in my too-tight work pants after staying within my set calorie range and doing the 30DS plus usually one other active activity a day... And then my button popped off my work pants a few minutes ago :( They are already pretty beat up, and I think this is the last straw. I thought I could last a few more days (or weeks) in these, but I guess not!

    FI did say yesterday though how proud he is of me for sticking to this. It is so hard. I've never really eaten healthy or worked out regularly. I'm trying so hard, and hopefully that will show!
