Formal Name for Nellie?

Can you think of any formal names for which Nellie is a NN? Nellie was my husband's grandmother and I'd like to figure out a way to honor her if we ever have another girl, but I am really not a fan of the name Nellie. I would consider using Nellie as a MN, but the flow with the FNs we like isn't there (y sound ending or too many Ls). Alternatively, share your favorite girl names that start with the letter N? Thanks!

For a formal name for Nelly I like Natalie. Other N girl names I like are Naomi, Nerida and Neve.

I always assume Nellie as a NN for Penelope, but I also really like Nell (which would work awesome as a MN). I think you'd be surprised how many FNs would work with Nellie as a MN, though. The MN we've chosen if this is another girl ends in the ee sound, and flows great.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions! I'm not a fan of Nell because it doesn't sound like a real name to me, and it sounds masculine. (I'm not saying that Nell isn't a real name, it just doesn't sound like a proper name to me.)

So far, I'm loving Natalie, Penelope and Eleanor.
