Morning wake-up

Does anyone's LO's still wake up crying? I don't mind that he wakes up for the day at 6, I just wish he didn't have to wake up crying! Naps are a lot better, he'll talk to himself for a bit before crying. I know he's still young but when he had his own room he woke up and talked to himself but now that we share a room he wakes up crying, do you think it's because he sees us? Any suggestions? Or is this just something he'll grow out of. TIA

Re: Morning wake-up

  • About half of the time Morgan wakes up talking and laughing but the other half she's crying.  There's no rhyme or reason to it either...

  • I've noticed DD wakes up crying when she is still tired, and she wakes up talking/rolling/playing when she has had a good sleep
Killian will do this as well. He usually talks to himself for a while then decides he's still cranky.

  • DD cries very single time that she wakes up including naps. DD1 was the same way. It lasted a very long time.

  • Milla only wakes up crying in the middle of the night or if she didn't get enough rest. Other wise I hear her playing.

  • more often than not, LO wakes up crying (even if she was sleeping on me). We think she usually wakes up because of gas pains, sudden hunger, or an arm / leg fell asleep.

Ainsley is the same. Sometimes when she wakes up from naps, she is so quiet, I dont even hear her with the monitor on. If she wakes up crying I know she isn't really ready to be up yet and I try to get her to go back to sleep.
