Sore boobs!!

Has anybody else got sore boobs?!! Too embarrassed to tell hubbie, but they are so heavy when I take my bra off!

Re: Sore boobs!!

  • oh yea, they feel so heavy and full. I didn't realize this would start so early in pregnancy. I've had to tell DH to not hug me as tightly a couple of times haha

  • That should of been my first sign I was prego! My boobs were so sore! It gets a little better, but for me it hasn't gone away yet. (I'm 9wks)
  • Oh yeah! They are constantly sore, every time they bump into anything or anytime I'm changing it hurts! I'm in week 10 and its been a little better this week.
  • I'm almost 6 weeks and that is my MAJOR symptom. Bras are not my friend right now. I can't wait for sweatshirt weather for chilling at home!
  • I been sporting a sports bra hahhaha
  • Mine are almost unbearably sore. It's so painful.

  • My Dr said sport bras are going to be my best friend haha
    & I agree with (JessyKah1987) ..
    I CAN'T WAIT for sweatshirt season! :p
  • This has been one of the biggest signs of pregnancy for me every time! At my first OB appointment this time I announced in front of my hubby, the nurse, and the Dr that my boobs felt like they were about to burst into flames at any moment and like they were made of rocks. She laughed so hard at my candidness, but said, yeah, that's pretty normal. It never went away with my other pregnancies until after my breast milk dried up after delivery, but it kinda gets to the point where I hardly notice it for the most part because I just get so stinkin used to it. Find yourself some soft comfy but supportive bras, buy at least several of them so you always have one clean, and hang in there! If it gets to bothering you too much, they used to sell these ice packs for your bra... no, I'm not kidding!...  for when you are trying to dry up your breast milk, they don't actually do anything to dry your milk, so no worries, but they help with the soreness. Look for them like at Maternity stores and Babies R Us and places like those that have breastfeeding supplies. Or you can make your own by using a quart-size freezer bag with 1 part rubbing alcohol and 2 parts water (the alcohol keeps it from freezing hard so it will stay soft) so that the bag will be about 1/2 an inch thick or so when it lays flat in the freezer. Then go someplace private for a bit and cool those puppies off or just stick them in your bra if it's loose enough. ;) Might sound crazy, but believe me, it's no where near as weird as the stuff they are going to give you in the recovery room after delivery. :p

  • My boobs are crazy sore and every time my 3 yr old sits on my lap my boobs perfectly align with her elbows and she constantly jabs them into my boobs by accident. She usually puts all her weight on her elbow when squirming. Sore boobs + 30 lbs of force jabbed onto them suuuuuuucks! :) Plus we haven't told her yet so she doesn't even know to be extra careful with me! Counting the days till we tell her! :)
