  21w1d today.

  The pelvic pain from my fall is easing up although my left side is still pretty sore. My OB moved my MFM up a week to check the girls and my cervix because of my fall. I see him Thursday. We went swimming last night and that was really nice and relaxing.

  QOTW: We just ordered the 2nd crib this weekend. I also picked up two Carter's outfits from Costco yesterday ($7.99 for a 3 piece set, saw the same sets at Kohls for $16.99) My moms best friend is making crib rail covers for me and I'm so excited. We are not using bumpers this time, so the crib rail covers will take their place. That's about it.

  Hi ladies!  I'm 14w6d today and feeling ok the past few days!  Having a little dizziness but that's really it.  Belly is slowly coming along and is sticking out further than last week, but still don't have an obvious bump yet, just look like i ate too much the past few weeks.  I can't wait until it takes shape!  I had a regular OB appointment last week and heard both heartbeats (155 and 149) and have another u/s at the MFM next Tuesday, I can't wait! It's been 3 weeks since my last u/s and it's really hard not seeing them.  The doppler checks at the OB in between do help, but I like to see them for myself that they are both still swimming in there.
  
  QOTW:  We started our registry and I am just constantly researching EVERYTHING i can about twins, products, schedules, best practices, etc... I know nothing will prepare me but my Type A personality is making me plan as much a I can.  We are going to have a yard sale in September and get rid of a lot of stuff to make room for all the babies things.  We'll also be painting in September and then setting up the nursery as much as we can in October.  Shower will be in November and I want to have a clean, organized place to put everything in.  Right now we're just trying to get the entire house in order and declutter.

  37 weeks tomorrow- I cannot believe I made it this far. It's surreal! I'm getting so nervous about labor/delivery and bringing two infants home. I'm a worrier anyway, but this is just A LOT! I would love to push those anxieties aside and be a ball of excitement instead of nerves.

  
  

  I'm so, so thankful the babies should be healthy and able to come home right away. If no babies this week, than we'll induce or schedule a C next week some time after our ultrasound Weds. WOW!

  I am 14w5d today!  I've got a little bump - but not super noticeable unless I wear something that is tight fitting and really shows it off.   I am looking forward to actually looking pregnant instead of just like I gained extra weight.  This week is uneventful but next week I am going for an elective gender scan on the 20th!
  
  QOTW:  I have pretty much everything left to do still!   I did start my registry on Amazon already and I reading and doing research into what I want.   The plan is over labor day weekend to get started cleaning out the office and then getting the nursery painted.  At that point we can really get going since I want to have most things done before the holidays and before I get too big and uncomfortable.

  We had a quickie repeat ultrasound today just to check fluid level and bladders since last week there was some concern over beginnings of TTTS with Baby B measuring a week behind.  We got the best news I think we could have realistically hoped for, which is pretty much no changes.  Both babies were moving well, with Baby B's MVP improved slightly to 3.8 and Baby A around 5.6 cm.  I have also been feeling movement a little more consistently, which helps me focus on the fact that right now all is ok.  

  
  

  I have not gotten anything started for these 2 babies...through some other crappy circumstances that have developed over the past week, we are now facing possibly buying a home vs. renting a bigger apartment. I am hesitant to buy lots of stuff knowing we may need to move it all soon! Since they are babies #2 and 3, we have a lot we can get by with in the beginning since DD1 was a girl. 

  
  

  Really, we need to settle on a place to live, buy a van, and a double stroller. No biggie, right?!

  30 wks 5 days! I had an MFM appointment this morning and baby A is measuring 3.7 lbs at baby B is 3.5 lbs.
  
  We are probably 50% ready, we only have our little girls stuff ready! I'm waiting to get our boy stuff back from SIL and move second crib from DS room to nursery.

  Had an ultrasound on Thursday of last week and the fluid level was lower on Baby A and the blood flow was elevated. Initially they thought it was TTTS and were talking surgery. Then after calling in a consult they concluded it is IUGR and they immediately shifted to talking "about options" and possible "selective reduction" if things don't improve. This seemed premature to me since they both have strong heartbeats and were measuring within normal range 2 weeks ago. We go in this Thursday to have everything measured again and hopefully Baby A has grown and the fluid level is up. For now I am just getting tons of rest and eating a crazy amount of protein. T&Ps please for a good result on Thursday. Also we got our MAT21 test results back and they were negative so that is good news. 

  
  

  What have you done to prepare for your babies/ what do you have left to do? I have started a bit on the nursery but every time I get some bad news or a set back I stop. I just wish I could get to a point where I feel confident in moving forward.

  Had my second ultrasound last week where I got to hear both heartbeats for the first time (we had already seen them both at an earlier ultrasound, but hadn't heard them).

  
  

  What have you done to prepare for your babies/ what do you have left to do? 

  
  

  We bought a stroller! I happened across a deal on craigslist for a 2010 Bumbleride Indie Twin in brand new condition being sold for $375. That was a good year - nearly identical to the 2013 because they kept taking away and adding back all the little extras in between those model years. Since we knew we were going to splurge for the 2013 version if no other deals popped up, this was a great find. Ended up saving us almost $400!

  28 weeks tomorrow! I've got an appt on Wed for an ultrasound and check-up. Hoping that my cervix is holding up alright. I can tell the babies are getting bigger! When they are moving around at night it wakes me up. Big movements! Love this time.
  
  QOTW: We have a crib set up in our room. I've went through our boy clothes and realized that we need a lot more! We have been stocking up on diapers for weeks! So far we have nearly 3,000 diapers! Lol

  34w1d today. Went to the OB and MFM last week and Baby A isn't growing as she should. She only gained 2oz in 2 weeks, so I need to lay down and rest more than I already have been. It's hard when you have a 4 year old and a husband that travels a lot. I go back to the MFM on Wednesday so hopefully she'll be back on track.
  
  QOTW: We almost have everything done! Just need to add the finishing touches to the nursery, organize and then wash the baby gear that's been in the garage for months. It's hard to nest, especially when you have the urge to, when you're limited on what you can do.

  Hi!  22w2d  No big changes.  Last Friday I did feel one of them kick/punch from the outside (placed my hand on my belly) when I was at work, but the little bugger wouldn't do it again when I got home and my hubby could feel.  Waited all weekend, nothing.  Sure, the little flutters and movements were going on, but nothing that could have been felt by my hubby.  (He hasn't felt them move yet and is excited to)  Then last night I couldn't get back to sleep after getting up to pee (will that ever end?) so sat in my recliner and tried to catch some z's before getting up for the day.  Sure enough, 5am the little guy decided to try to punch his way through again.  We had a little chat about it and I explained that while I enjoy feeling them move around right now, it would be awful nice of them to let their daddy feel them too!

  QOTW:  We haven't done much.  We have a few clothes that people have given to us, we have car seats for immediately and when they are bigger, and we have strollers.  We're trying to move so can't "build up" a nursery just yet.

  28w2d!! Not too much going on. I passed my 3-hour glucose test, so I'm excited about not having diabetes. I have a regular OB appointment on Friday and next week is my MFM follow-up.
  
  QOTW: We are finally making progress. The cribs were delivered on Saturday and DH put them together. We had a crazy Buy Buy Baby spending spree yesterday: mattresses, car seats, bath tub, changing pads and a glider. We hope to get a stroller frame at the local multiples resale next month. I bought an old Art Deco dresser to refurbish and paint bright yellow. I think I have all my supplies so I plan to start that this week.
  
  We have tons of 0-3 month outfits, but not many newborn clothes; if I need more then hopefully that's something I can buy used at the multiples resale. I need to figure out pumping and bottles and sign up for a diaper service. Also, we need to order the pack n' play and a swing.

  33/1 today! Girls have been doing well. Still watching B's growth. I'm almost 2 months into sbr. The Perinatologist doesn't want me to go past 36 weeks so c/s scheduled for the end of this month. QOTW: still need to install car seats, wash baby gear.

  29w 3d today.  Next mfm appointment is tomorrow, they're kicking around a lot in there so I think everything should be ok. I am super uncomfortable pretty much all the time but I started working from home 3 days a week which has been a huge help.  

   

  QOTW: We've got all the big stuff - crib, R&Ps, dresser, changing table, car seats, stroller.  We got so many hand me down things from friends, family, and coworkers that all we really needed to buy new were the car seats, crib, and diapers!  Most of it is still unorganized in piles though, so I still need to sort through the clothes especially and figure out what I've got and get everytyhing washed.

  31 weeks and I'm off of the thoughts and prayers list! I did have to go to L&D on Friday for extended monitoring but all checked out okay. Dr is talking about delivering me at 34 weeks but I'm going to push for 35-36 if all continues to look okay.
  
  MissMandyD, so glad to hear your A has grown a bit!
  
  QOTW: I feel mostly ready. Coworkers are having a shower for me on Wednesday and after that I'll order anything we still need. Nursery is pretty functional at this point but not really decorated. I need some nesting instinct to motivate me. After work, I just want to sit on the couch!

  8w1d- morning sickness still hasn't hit too hard- but holy crap I am tired. School hasn't started back so I am able to nap every day but I still crash early every night. It doesn't help that my in-laws are in town, which is pretty exhausting. My 2nd appt is Thursday- I am hoping I will actually be able to meet my doctor & see the heartbeats again... I need to make sure I didn't dream that last appt! QOTW: Haven't really done much, except some research online. We are also house shopping for our move to Denver... So that is kind of a baby-prep purchase I suppose...

  Found out last week that I have anemia.  Starting taking iron supplements right away. 
  
  Have a LOT to do to prepare for the boys.  We're moving into a bigger apt on Wednesday.  So once we're there I'll start getting stuff.  Seemed silly to get stuff only to have to move it.

  Still on bed rest. Feeling good though and the babies are looking good on weekly u/s. cervix still holding strong between 2.04-2.79 while on progesterone. Finally convinced ob to refer me to MFM and now I am waiting for my records to be reviewed and appt scheduled. Also considering changing OB. Making some calls tomorrow to check out others.
  Finished registry, decided in cribs and mattresses, etc. DH and MIL went yesterday to check them out and proceeded me with pics and thoughts. DH might get nursery painted this weekend. I'll be holding down the couch. Lol

  Hello! This is my first check in on the multiples board!

  
  

  I'm 8w2d and a FTM. Twins were a very exciting surprise to us last week at our last appointment. DH and I have always joked about having twins, and well, karma I guess Our original due date was March 17th.... but has since changed to March 10th since out Dr doesnt want us to go pass 38 weeks. Hoping and praying to make it into March. 

  
  

  I've been pretty sick as of the last week or so. Nothing seems to help, but rest. I hope this disappears soon, but hey, I'll take it.

  I have my c section scheduled for Sept. 23 which means 6 weeks left!!!! I wont lie I have those moments where I'm just SO ready now....but I know they need more grow time.  I'm on modified bed rest as a precautionary measure bc A is SO low.  I am so tired and finally putting care of my tenth month old in others hands bc I just cant do it anymore.
  
  As for whats left to do just little things....if they came tomorrow we would be ready:)

  almost 21 weeks! pretty uneventful week and we are all doing well. I am now on modified bed rest due to softening of my cervix but its staying closed so far hopefully it stays that way! boys are measuring right on schedule baby B is just a few days behind and aside from my hips hurting I feel pretty good just tired  

  
  

  QOTW: We have tore up the carpet and are laying new carpet down this week and painting the nursery walls all bedding has been purchased as has most diapers and nursery decor, got the MBF twins feeding pillow tons of cloths and now just waiting on the furniture to come in so we can put it all together. still have a few things on out list to get but over all we are pretty ready for the boys. and stocked up on maternity cloths

  Had a little bit of an eventful week last week ... I was having very uncomfortable/mildly painful contractions every five minutes so I ended up going into L&D on Friday night. My cervix was tightly closed and the babies were okay, so they hooked me up to an IV to make sure I was hydrated and monitored the contractions for a few hours. Everything was okay, but those contractions were kind of scary! 
  

  
  

  QOTW: I have coming home outfits for the boys and have knit one sweater and most of one baby blanket, but that is it. We are moving in a few weeks so I can't do all that much to prepare before then. It's really frustrating!   I am 14 weeks 2 days un eventful just lots of nauseas. Planning to have shower in November and already cleaned the guest bedroom to make room for nursery. We selected the paint and now just getting rid of old furniture. I love to plan ahead so thats what I do. I cant wait to find out what we having!!!!

  I'm 37w 2 days and scheduled for a c section on 8/20! Can't beleive I made it this far. The last week or so has been really uncomfortable and exhausting.
  
  We have the nursury finished, and car seat bases and all of that done. I spent a day cooking freezer meals and and have my hospital things packed and ready to go. The house needs a good clean, DH will be doing that today but other than that we are as ready as we will ever be I guess!

  Where I live there are two places that do 'elective' ultrasounds for people - I would just google where you live and see what is around or not.  Even my ob/gyn gave me a pamphlet for the place I am going to so they have no issue with it.

  19w4d today (my MFM moved my "official due date" up to Jan. 3rd). 

  
  

  Things are going well. Finally started to gain weight and my cervix remains above 4. Starting to feel like a bit like a weeble wooble but still able to get around pretty well.

  
  

  QOTW: Have gotten some great finds from Craig's List and consignment stores. Also plan on going to a local Mothers of Multiples Resale this weekend, so am hoping to get a few more things in good used condition before I register. Hate the idea of friends and family paying retail for something that I can get so much cheaper. My goal is to have as much as possible done by 28 weeks.

  9w2d Doing well but have been having a lot of back issues which I thought would happen but not so soon I have my last RE appointment on Thursday and am I going to miss them, they were wonderful! I meet with my Mcmahon in two weeks for my NT scan and have an ob appointment on Friday. I haven't bought anything and probably won't until after 20 for superstition reasons but have definitely been looking!

  First check in here! Im 25 weeks 3 days. Ive been on bedrest since 22 weeks. I have a shortening cervix of .5 with funneling on a couple different medications to help stop contractions. Ive been having cramping and pain in my right side all day debating on weather to go get it checked out. Babies have both been moving a lot tonight so thats always reassuring.
  
  I had my first shower last weekend, I couldnt go because of bedrest but we skyped and got a lot of things we needed. Painting the nursery Saturday.

  Checking in late as usual. Things are going well - just started feeling them this weekend - just some light taps and only when I am very still. I am starting to get super sore around my ribs by the end of the work day - I think slouching at my desk is causing it, there is no room for that. I have appointments on 8/20 (OB) and 8/28 (MFM) and hope all is well! Everything seems uneventful for now.

  We just scored some car seats. Otherwise, I started working on clearing our office/rec room to make way for babies, but its slow going. We are going to get a storage space for all of our odds and ends, holiday and sports equipment. I've made a few clothing purchases for them whenever I see a huge sale. I finally have a good amount of maternity clothes and bought a tummy brace that I am really loving wearing.

  Josie was 5lbs2oz, Lexie was 4lbs15oz 

  Both had a 9 APGAR score with no NICU time

  Planned unscheduled C-Section due to both being breech

  We all went home on Jan 6th, 2 days after surgery

  My first check in! I am 11 weeks and 3 days pregnant with twins. This is our first pregnancy, we are super excited! I just found out I have a subchorionic bleed and currently on bed rest. I started spotting on Sunday and freaked out! The doctor assured me that since I didn't have cramps that's a good sign. The doctor ordered a ultrasound and the twins are doing fine, it was reassuring to see their heartbeat! I just hope both of them stay healthy through out the pregnancy.
