Since I am running out of BM I bought a can of formula. I've been told that similac sensitive with iron is good for supplementing(any experiences?) I'm going to nurse on demand still and pump also when I can. I ordered a car adapter so I'm going to pump while driving too, in hopes to get my supply back. Has anyone had any luck with doing this?
Re: Gonna see how this goes.
We did one thing of the sensitive, and then we moved to regular because he did fine on that, then we went to the organic bc he spits up a lot less with that. Did you sign up for the similac checks? I think it's called like similac strong moms.
On pumping in the car, I found that I got better suction with a power inverter cup, like this one: https://www.amazon.com/PowerLine-PowerCup-Mobile-Inverter-90309/dp/B0042X8XQE/ref=sr_1_2?s=automotive&ie=UTF8&qid=1376531465&sr=1-2&keywords=power+inverter+cup

it for other stuff down the road.
I was wondering if it was just me because I never pump much in the car. I have a plugin in my new car but it's in the back so that doesn't help me. I need to get this power inverter!
For supplementing, we started with Similac Advanced but then switched to Gerber because he spit up less on it. He gulped down that first formula bottle so quickly, and it made me cry because I felt like he was cheating on me or something, and I also felt bad because I was thinking that he must have been so hungry. Anyway, eventually it gets easier, and I'm just happy that he's getting fed and growing.
