Single Parents
Intro
Hello,
I am a newly single mom and thought I would introduce myself. I have a 9 month old daughter and just left my husband about a week ago. I have a restraining order against him and currently have full legal and physical custody (he has no visitation). It is a little overwelhming right now trying to navigate through the legal system. I am very fortuniate to have such great family that is very supportative. I am kind of terrified of being a single parent, but I know it was the best desicion to get out of that unsafe environment.
I am a full time student and currently not working, but that will probably change. I am looking forward to meeting other single parents and getting some advice.
