PW: Diaper Changes

Do you ladies do diaper changes before or after feedings? I find if I do them after, it just wakes him up and makes him cranky, but at the same time, I know he usually poos shortly after eating (20-30 min), and I'm not sure he should be sitting in poop til his next feeding. What say you? Let him sleep or wake him with a diaper change?

PS. Sorry, I'm being a PW lately. :)

    I do them before right now. She isn't staying awake for feeding from both sides right now and it wakes her up to change after

    I do not wake a sleeping baby for a change, either.

    I do them after a feed because more pee/poo gets added. Then just soothe baby again.

    I do them in between sides. That way if he's getting lazy it wakes him up to eat on the other side, but then I don't have to wake him after the second side

    During MOTN feedings, I change before feeding. If she poops while she's eating I will stop, change, and then feed again. I put her down as soon as she falls back to sleep (and then go back to sleep myself), so I would not know if she pooped 20-30 minutes later and will just change once she wakes.

    Before. My LO doesn't poo often so I don't really have to worry too much about it.

    Always before - she usually falls asleep after eating and I don't want to chance waking her up!

    During the day I do them before the feeding. At night I have been doing them in the middle because LO falls always falls alseep in the middle of the feeding

    During the day I do it after but during the night I do it before but will stop and change him if he poops mid-feed.

    I change him before during the day and mid way at night, that way there's still some milk to put him back to sleep.

    Usually I do them before so he will go down easily for a nap after feeding, but if I am feeling lazy, occasionally I will feed him and then change him.

    I have a routine. In the MOTN, I change her then feed her. She doesn't poop immediately.
