What's the dumbest thing you've done lately?
Me and big F bought a ceiling fan for our room because I sweat like a whore in church on sunday when I sleep. So we put the fan up and didn't realize it didn't have a light on it until it was pretty much up and running. So now I have to use a nightlight so I dont kill myself in the middle of the night. In the morning big f has to keep the closet light on to get dressed.
So now im lamp shopping on amazon...yay..not what I want to be shopping for.

You might be able to get a conversion kit to put a light fixture on it.
When we moved into our house there was no light in the master bedroom. I'm not sure how the people before us functioned.
This made me giggle.
Heh. This was a long time ago, but I have a friend who _still_ teases me about saying lucky cat was kind of like a Japanese Hello Kitty.
When big F was deploying we went to get him batteries for his flashlights, gaming stuff etc. Were looking at the AA batteries and noticed that one pack said AA 32, one said AA 16 and AA 8 etc. Well obviously the AA 32 are much stronger than the AA 8's..got to be, right? So we ponder over which AA's to get for a good 20-30 minutes until it finally hits us that the number is the number of batteries in the pack not the strength of the battery. We quietly left the battery section without the batteries once we realized how fucking stupid we were.

When I was 10 I asked my mom what language the Scottish speak. I never lived it down.
Recently I was talking to Nell about Canada. And I thought Alaska was right above WA taking up Canada's entire west coast. Talk about Geography fail. At least Nell laughed it off. Doh!

No offense, but as a person who has been a city driver since day one of having a drivers license - it is people like you on the road that piss me off.... I was behind someone the other day that stopped at a flashing yellow light and waited until I honked and they finally drove through the intersection. There were no pedestrians, other cars or anything around... and it was during rush hour.
Were you in NoVA during rush hour on Monday??
I always yell at people that do stuff like this and scream things like "If you don't know how to drive get off the roads!" I have some road rage, and I know it... I'm working on it.
