Introduction and NJ RE Question

Hi Everyone! I'm new to this forum and board. Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Alexa. My hubby and I have been trying to conceive for about a year on our own. Other than being overweight, we both have always been healthy. I've always had normal periods that come on time. Earlier this month we decided to go see my obgyn. So far, I've had two blood work tests done. The first was for my progesterone levels - which were quite low. After finding that out, it all made sense. I've had quite a few of the symptoms of low progesterone, but always thought it may have been PMDD. Today, I went in again for my FSH, LH, and Estradiol levels. So I should have those back in a few days. DH also had a SA and we are waiting on those results too.

For those of you lovely ladies who live in NJ, do you have any recommendations for Reproductive Endocrinologists? We are looking for someone either in the Somerset County/Princeton/UMCPP area or Union County/St.Barnabas area.

    Welcome to the board, but sorry you have to be here! I think there are a few NJ ladies on here, but not sure if they are in your area. Perhaps they will pipe in. I am in NYC, so unfortunately I'm not help with RE recommendations,but I wish you luck!

    Hi Ladies, Thank you for your responses :) I also wish the best of luck to the both of you. Did a little research, sounds like RMANJ is top notch. I'm going to talk to the hubby tonight and call my obgyn tomorrow for the rest of my results. Then, hopefully we can be on our way to RMA.

    Hey there!  Welcome to the board, but sorry you have to be here.  It's really a great support group and you learn a lot from these ladies!  I actually go to RMA in the Morristown location, but they have locations all over the state.  They're great!  I'm in the midst of my first IVF cycle with them now, so if you have any questions feel free to PM me.

    Thank you! :) We're looking into either the Basking Ridge, Summit, or West Orange offices. Thank you for your support. I can't wait to get going with RMA. I'm getting fed up with my obgyn's office staff. They've had my pap smear results for 2 weeks and DH's SA results for over a week now and every time I call, the doctor either is out of the office and still hasn't read the analysis. Good luck to you as well. I'll def PM you if I have some questions, which I probably will. :) Thanks again.
