Elissa has figured out that the pieces go in specific spots but doesn't have the fine dexterity yet to actually put them in that slot the majority of the time. Mostly she uses the pieces as cymbals.

This is us too - she understands that they go back in the spot but she doesn't really know how to get them back in it.
Thanks ladies! During his EI evaluation last week (which went great!!) they gave him a wooden puzzle to see what he'd do with it. They said it was more of a 2 year old skill but I was curious if other July babies were doing it.
