Chris is going to be 4 in just under 3 months and he still takes his meals and sometimes snacks in a high chair. He seems to genuinely enjoy sitting in it most times. I think it's the fact that it keeps him contained and I think he likes that. He's also prone to squeezing himself into very tight spaces or maneuvering himself behind you on a couch and asking you to squish him.
Anyway, at home and at my parents' who watch him every day, this isn't a problem, but I've noticed a couple of funny looks whenever someone is over and they see Chris get in his high chair to eat - like he's too big for it or something. I honestly never gave it a second thought but now I'm starting to wonder if maybe we shouldn't be trying to encourage him to eat his meals in a booster seat or something similar.
Thoughts? Advice?
Thanks!
