DH really thinks it's a boy

I kind of think that too. DH had a really strong feeling DD was going to be a girl and she was! I'm really thinking it's a boy now because DH is so sure and I think I'm going to be a little disappointed if it's a girl. Which is totally silly because we plan on having more kids so it's not like it's our last chance. Must be hormones...We are having a super hard time thinking of boy names! We knew DD's name before she was even conceived.

Re: DH really thinks it's a boy

  • That's how my DH was too. I wonder if he would have been disappointed if our little wiener turned out to be a little vulva, but even if he would have, he would have gotten over it. It may have taken him awhile but he would be happy as long as our baby is healthy.
Oddly enough, we had girls names decided on Even though DH wanted (and got) a boy.
Just make sure you are there for him to talk to and don't be upset if he's disappointed. He'll come around!

  • I am worried about the same thing, my DH only calls the baby a boy and I am always having to get on him cause I really dont want him to be totally disappointed if it is a girl.  Last night was the first time he used "squirmer" for a name instead of "him"  it was a nice change.  Every time I tell him to be more open about it he says as long as its healthy I will be ok, but even then I am not sure its the complete truth....everything he talks about is boy related.  Here's hoping its a boy so I dont have to worry about him being let down.

I actually asked him last night if he would be disappointed if it was a girl and he said no. I'm the one I'm worried about! :)

  • We both really want a boy... Me- because I have to nieces and I already go crazy every time I walk into a store and see cute pink stuff.  Him- because he thinks about his little girl turning into a teenager and doing all the bad things that he used to do when he was that age with girls.. LOL

He does refer to the baby as he/him/baby boy... I am really trying not to get used to it because we just don't know yet.

Anyway... Hoping for team penis :)
