Trouble TTC

Houston Ladies!!!!

I have been going to HFI but we started thinking maybe we need a second opinion.  Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love our RE and the staff, but I'm wondering why we never got any suggestions on how to improve DHs morph.  When I went to my urologist for my yearly follow up my kidney issues, he told me that now would be a great time to get pregnant. I mentioned our IF issues and DHs morph and he told me that there are a few different things that could cause low morph and some of the issues can be improved with medical intervention.  This has just got me thinking maybe we need a second opinion at least for DH.  My Urologist mentioned CORM but I don't really know too much about them. TIA for any suggestions

Re: Houston Ladies!!!!

  • Hi, maybe there aren't many of us from Houston?

I was with FSH and I have no complaints, we just took a break. We aren't MFI so am afraid I can't attest to that. We were happy with our RE and the entire staff were great at answering the questions... or the ones that could be answered! We may be seeking a second opinion as well, so I understand how you feel.

I've heard some about the Baylor College of Medicine's Urology Department. They have specialists in Reproduction that deal with MFI specifically. I would imagine they might partner up with a RE office somewhere nearby in the Med Center.

  • Hey, I was just lurking but I go to CORM and have been happy with them so far. We just finished our first IUI cycle(BFN) and are moving on with the next one. We aren't dealing with MFI either (just have a limited supply of DH's frozen swimmers) but they've been very helpful and nice throughout the process.
