For those who do not know PGAL is Pregnant After A Loss. We welcome anyone who has had a chemical pregnancy, miscarriage, still birth or loss of a child and are now pregnant again. Being pregnant after a loss comes with a lot of emotions and, while we're thrilled to be here, it's scary as well. Hopefully we can use this check-in to find support and friendship in other women going through a similar experience.
Note: This week 2 of the member list check in. If you would like to remain on the ACTIVE member list please post at least a little reply. It can be as simple as a "Here" just to let us know you are still actively participating/reading these posts. I will run the check in for 3 weeks and then create an active members list from the people who replied at least once during the check in. As always all PGAL ladies are always welcome here not just the "members". If you checked in last week you are good, you do not have to check in a second time if you do not want to.

How many weeks? 19+ almost half way!!
Symptoms? I have had some pelvic pain but after 3 days of babying it, it feels a bit better!
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? 2 MORE DAYS UNTIL THE A/S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am a little excited, can you tell?

We had a talk about it and I explained that I was in a lot of pain and needed a good back rub. Symptoms? Not too many lately, or at least nothing too crazy. Trying to enjoy it!
Updates/appts: blood work this week to follow up on infection, a/s next week, midwife week after. PGAL brain is in overdrive with small bump and no kicks so I hope A/S helps!
GTKY: fave guilty pleasure. I guess getting to be more lazy around the house. I don't know if DH minds but I am sure milking it, I do feel guilty though! I definitely have more energy 2nd tri but I'm still way lazier than usual!

Having some abdominal pain. That's new.
I am waiting in my dr's office right now. 25 minutes late so far. Ugh. But I am glad to be here to ask about the pain, plus I had a dream last night that I lost the baby.
My guilty pleasure is napping during the day whenever I want. I work in the evenings at the dance studio, and during the day I can make my own work schedule. (I do a lot of marketing and management work for the studio -- but it's flexible.)
How many weeks? 16 weeks 4 days
Symptoms? Hip pain, nausea is still there but getting better, tired but somehow more energetic at the same time, and these weird pains where my thigh and crotch meet.
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? Appt this afternoon with the midwife
GTKY: Confession time! Favorite guilty pleasure as a pregnant lady! Lounging around and doing nothing. I have been getting quite a lot done lately. But once I do a couple things around the house after work (like loading/emptying the dishwasher), I become pretty useless and end up on the couch with my ipad.

How many weeks? 16 today!
Symptoms? Heartburn but otherwise I feel pretty good in general
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share?
We had an appointment this week. Baby's heartbeat was great at 164! Also got our Harmony test results - all good. We had her write down the sex of the baby in an envelope which we have not opened yet. A/s is set for Sept. 12.

Stating that I need to lie down for a few minutes and have my husband be completely supportive. If I need a break from the kids, it is no questions asked and I LOVE it.
My symptoms are pretty easy although the smell of mint still makes me throw up. Some pain and difficulty sleeping.
Still a week and 5 days to the anatomy scan. I want to make sure my little bsby is doing ook with all our travelling.
Guilty pleasure would be eating peanut butter and green apples.. I love them

Symptoms? Occasional nausea and constantly achy.
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? I had my A/S this past friday and baby looks great, but I have a marginal placenta previa. Any extra T&Ps are warmly welcomed! I have my next prenatal appointment on the 22nd.
GTKY: Confession time! Favorite guilty pleasure as a pregnant lady! It's a toss up between foot rubs (something I only enjoy while pregnant) and my daily indulgence in a small square of dark chocolate (low enough in sugar for my glucose issues to tolerate!).

Abnormal ANA, PAI-1 4G/4G homozygous
Symptoms: I'm sore and achy, the heartburn is here, so tired and I have a UTI. Wonderful.
Appointments/Updates: I had my 18w appointment today. HB was good, weight gain is good and my quad screening bloodwork came back with low risks. On the downside, I have a UTI and I'm on antibiotics for the next 7 days.
GTKY guilty pleasures: I like getting out of doing things I know I *could* do. Like haul the laundry up and down the stairs.
Weeks: 19.5
Symptoms: None, except hunger
Updates: Appointments next week

Symptoms: Always hungry. Crazy dreams. Exhaustion - better than 1st trimester, but I still go to bed at 9:00

Symptoms? Tightness, soreness around my sides/back from stretching. Otherwise everything's wonderful.

Symptoms? Constipation and some bouts of heartburn. I feel pretty good nowadays, which is awesome. And a little frightening.
Any updates or appointments coming up that you'd like to share? A/S on August 26. PgAL brain is in full force right now because my one-year loss milestone is Monday, so I'm trying not to work myself into a panic attack. My doppler comes in tomorrow, so that should ease my mind. Maybe.

Symptoms? headache, backache, strange cravings/aversions, still extremely tired!
