Congestion...Symptom of Teething?

Hi Ladies,

Hubby and I were up ALL night with our congested little man. He's not sneezing, coughing nor running a fever. He's still breastfeeding, taking the bottle and taking his naps throughout the day. We're thinking it could be teething. He's been drooling a lot more and biting on his bottom lip.

Any tips? We have the teething tablets but I don't want to give them to him if he's not teething. Oh yeah, checked his gums and they're still super soft with no signs of teeth breaking the gums.

    It might be a teething cold...just hang in there and keep little man comfy :).

    He probably is just sick. We also have a toddler who brings things home at least once per month for the whole family, and dd really only ever gets congested while ds (my toddler) gets congestion, fever, coughs, and more. Dd never has a fever or any other symptoms, but the congestion has been there each time and sometimes wakes her up.

    ugh i hope congestion is a sign...poor girl just got over coxsackie just to have really bad loose stool and the runniest nose ever...took her to the dr yesterday...said her ears are fine, her throat is fine, her lungs sound fine....no fever..and she was so super cranky today....drooling like crazy and nomming on everything in sight....i feel like she's been teething forever
