I'm working on a quilt out of my son's receiving/swaddle blankets and I'm curious what others have done to preserve tiny baby memories...

    Nothing crafty. I have a bin for each kid that has certain things I hold dear. So far, his come home outfit, christening outfit, first pair of shoes, hospital wristbands, ect.

    I like the letter idea. I thought about doing it on each birthday to recap the year....

    I saved some of my favorite newborn outfits that I would like sewn into a quilt, just need to find someone to do it. I keep up with his baby book & a calendar of his first year. I also keep a handwritten journal and I'll write him letters periodically. Oh, and photo books. I have the first 8 months so far. Will do months 9,10,11, & 12 then probably yearly.

    I finally got all the blocks sewed together.... Just have to do the batting & backing now....

    I have been really, really bad about this. I don't even have anything with her birth story written and all of her pictures are stored on my computer. I didn't even do monthly comparison pictures :/
