  It's a very scary thought.  I'm glad we didn't end up going with the wireless but in either case we have a very good password protection on our internet.

  we're pretty paranoid in our house so we opted to use a computer's mac address as the sign in to the network. It adds the extra layer of protection because not only do you need to know our password, you also have to have your computer's identifying address added to the router in order to get on the network. If the address is not in the system, even if you know the password, you can't use our network. It's a little bit of a hassle to set up since you have to add every computer, phone and tablet in that you want to use your network, but soooo much safer!
