Need Nursery Advice (PIP)

Hi!

We are almost all set with the nursery designs, just waiting for the glider/recliner we ordered (fabric will be in the same color family as the light walls and shape will look like the pic below) and need to get a few more things painted &/or hung!

My biggest hold up here though is the rug, I can't decide if I want the light or dark purple and am hoping you all can help! Which would you choose from the split image below (they are both 6' square and would fit between all of the furniture pieces)??

Note: The room does seems a little dark, so we'll be swapping out the existing fan w a dome light for one with 4 lights.

I like the darker color. I think that the light purple will look kind of faded against the light carpet that you already have down. Looks great though, and good luck with your decision!

Darker for sure. I think that light one will look mucky in a while once the color fades. I personally think darker rugs are easier to keep fresh/clean looking.
