So time if flying by fast, as it always does, and I realize it's time I baby proof our apartment before LO starts crawling. Can anyone recommend a good resource (e.g., book, website) that will guide me on what I need to do. I already know some things, but I'm sure I'm not thinking of everything.
While I'm at it, I'd like to ask another related question. We have these small end tables. They're cheap Target tables that we use to put drinks, remote controls, whatever. I look at them and worry about how easily LO could pull on those tables trying to stand up, causing them to fall on her, especially since one has a lamp on it that's not very heavy and can easily fall over. Would you get rid of them? What about floor lamps? FTM here, so I'm paranoid about this stuff!
Re: Baby proofing resources?
outlets
the door to the basement and the deck
stove knobs
edge guard on sharp corners of coffee tables and end table
gates at top and bottom of stairs
I would get rid of the tables for now until your DD is old enough to stand up without pulling.
