If I see the word AE today I may implode just saying.
So how about a Grinds Your Gears post!????
People that park like assholes. Yep this happened yesterday, left him a nice little note to. Im investing in some fake parking tickets or one of those notes you leave on peoples cars. I mean wtf dude wtf???
Re: Can we talk for realz today
:-L
This is why I can no longer stand people. I used to be a people person but now, I cant deal with their lack of the common sense the good Lord gave 'em!!
Ugh. I totally agree with this.
Particularly when I could have used pre-tax money from the FSA to cover it had you sent me the freaking bill.
The shoulder thing drives me batty. I always wish I had seen them sooner so I could straddle the shoulder and block them.
This seriously happened.
I had commented on FB about L not sleeping well, and this girl had the balls to tell me what she does with her newborn who is STTN- at 4 weeks. Complete with a know-it-all attitude
All I could do was to comment back and rip her a new one about how newborns should not be sleeping through the night and that she should be waking her baby to feed it. Yadda yadda yadda. She commented back. End of story.
THEN she posted the other day about her baby wasn't gaining enough weight because it wasn't eating enough. DUH! Grrrrrrrr.... idiot.
Omg @hijoi, I'm getting that put on a T-shirt. Let me know if you would like me to order you one as well.
YES! I have so many people in my life that are pregnant right now and they're all going into it with an "emergency" c-section possibility being equally as likely as a vaginal birth... Just no. And when I explain that they counter with "well you had one"... I explain in no uncertain detail what the meaning of a real motherfucking emergency c-section really is. Makes me crazy that they look at it as easier and routine.
Haha If there was a trophy given for scariest emergency C section, you @BubbaJug would be the clear winner. Your story is the definition of emergency, not this "oh I don't feel like stretching my vag" attitude some women have, or the "I don't feel like waiting around for 12+ hrs to deliver this baby" attitude some docs have.
Haha thank you, I think?? It just drives me nuts that these women go into it thinking "oh, I'll have a section or a vag baby, or a ham sandwich and a coke, all the same thing, my Dr. Said we'll see when we get there how it goes.
No. No its not the same thing. If its an option for them, they should be fighting to rip their vag open. I would have rather thrown Eleanor up than have the kind of c-section I did. But, you don't get a "would you rather...?" In a real emergency, and I think that's lost on a lot of people.
I am with you @jfresh on the book thing. So over it. But with Emery is blocks too. She hands me her block, then takes it back over and over and over. And the tantrums! Sweet Jesus the tantrums! And lately she has been doing this fun thing where she wakes up at 4am talking very loudly and playing. Then she falls back asleep but it takes me an hour to fall asleep. Then she wakes up at 6am for the day and I hate my life right now.

I agree with you, sorry to put you in that position. But, I can't believe that after a whole year+ of parenting wisdom we still have people pulling that sanctimommy bull crap on this board.
You (general you) hate my choices, I hate yours. Get over it.
Now who is causing drama?
Ummm... I dont know how X_X is starting drama but okay dear!

Today was the first day of school for my sons preschool and it annoys me when parents just push their kids in the door and leave them there screaming in the doorway! The poor teachers are standing there with 5 kids screaming and blocking the door and they can't get the other kids inside!
I have always taken Cortlandt all the way into the classroom and got him distracted with a toy for the first few weeks so that this doesn't happen! It is a very small preschool (10-12 kids per class) so it's not like the whole room is full of people!
