Oh god. Like nothing else. We had a bag that got pushed to the back of a cabinet that never gets used... such a nasty surprise. The smell just lingers. Ugh.

Yup. I was like "What IS that funky smell?" every time I opened the pantry. I was lucky though. Only a handful of them had gone bad. I can't imagine what a whole bag would have smelled like ::insert pukey emoticon;;
Seriously, one of the worst smells ever. I stopped buying big bags of potatoes because I never use them all and they always get shoved to the back of the cabinet.
