Does this mean anything in a FET pregnancy? My OB told be that I'm measuring 1 to 2 weeks ahead snd that they would have to keep monitoring that.
My DD1 was only 7lbs 4oz and my DH and I are smallish people. I've gained about 20 pounds so far which seems fine at 28 weeks.
I feel stupid worrying, but now I'm freaked out about having a giant baby or delivering early.
IVF, acupuncture, meditation and a miracle.
Our sweet Valentine's Day FET.

With each pregnancy I've measured further and further ahead, I thought it was just from your body expanding quicker with second, third, etc pregnancies. With Sully I know I had a lot of fluid.
I've delivered all my babies early (not premi early, just 2-3 weeks early) but I think that is just how my body is. My doc never said measuring ahead equaled an earlier birth.
Kelly, Mom to Christopher Shannon 9.27.06, Catherine Quinn 2.24.09, Trey Barton lost on 12.28.09, Therese Barton lost on 6.10.10, Joseph Sullivan 7.23.11, and our latest, Victoria Maren 11.15.12
Secondary infertility success with IVF, then two losses, one at 14 weeks and one at 10 weeks, then success with IUI and then just pure, crazy luck. Expecting our fifth in May as the result of a FET.
This Cluttered Life
Are you talking about on fundal height or ultrasound?
Either way, I think they can be off.
I was on the other end of the spectrum with IUGR. However, due to the IUGR, I was getting very frequent ultrasounds towards the end of my pregnancy. At one point in time, about 1-2 weeks before I delivered, my OB told me he was measuring at 4.5 lbs and had not grown in the two week before--her last measurement had had him at 4.5 lbs, too. The MFM doctor, the very next day, told me he was measuring at 5.5 lbs and had him up from 1.5 lbs the time before she had measured him. It depends so much on the position of the baby, the skill of the person doing the ultrasound and even beyond that there is a lot of room for interpretation.
