**moved to correct board, Thank you*** Well after 2.5 years of trying I FINALLY have a BFP!!
We have been trying for 2.5years and have been working with GREAT RE for the last 1.5 years. On July 9, 2013 I had a laparoscopy and hystroscopy which also ended in removing my left tube, a fibroid and a polyp. I had some bleeding after the surgery and thought it was obviously from the surgery. We were currently waiting for AF to show so we can move forward with natural, IUI or IVF. (Waiting to start to discuss options with RE)
Well on Friday, August 9, 2013, with AF being 21 days late from my count, I took a test which was negative. I threw it away in bathroom bin and left for out of town. When I returned I decided to take a look (I know any results would be invalid at that point). There was a second line; I knew it was probably evaproation line but I decided to buy 2 more tests. I took the test this am and had a VERY faint line, so faint I thought I was imagining it. I sent a pic of the test to my mom and she said she saw 2 lines so I called my RE and she had me come in for blood work and advised the bleeding after the surgery could have also been from AF. My RE called me 2 hours ago to say the blood work came back positive (Beta at 12). She said it is really early so I will be going back again to get blood work again on Saturday.
After 2.5 years I just bawled when I heard the news and am sooo excited to tell my husband! I bought baby corn, baby potatoes, lil' smokies, baby carrots, and sugar babies for desert
I have lurked on the TTTC board for about 2 years and am hoping I can join/lurk on the Success after IF board. Reading your stories have always given me the push to keep going.
