Any flight attendants in their 1st trimester and flying?

I am a flight attendant in my 1st trimester. I'm nauseated all day and tired most of the time. I've been calling out cause I don't want to be miserable and have to attend to passengers, not to mention straining myself with the carts, and feeling bloated and gassy from cabin pressure. At my airline we can fly up to 27 wks and there are flight attendants who say they've done it. I had a miscarriage earlier this year and so I'm being extra cautious this time. How have you dealt with it? Thanks

  • I'm not a flight attendant, but flew weekly (4-10 flights) through 34 weeks. I kept ginger ale and saltines with me through 1st trimester (and learned quickly where every restroom was in my main & regular connecting airports).
