I'd much rather have that than the stabbing nipple I had in the middle of the night. It was also rock hard while the other was soft with no pain. A total wtf moment.
FTM here, but in speaking with friends who already have little ones, I believe that tingling is the sensation of let down that we'll have when we are breast feeding.
Yes, I have felt this, itching and stabbing... The joys of your boobs preparing for feeding. On the bright side, they are huge. At our birthing class yesterday I was doing a birthing position where you are on your hands and knees... my DH looks at me and whispers, "I can see your boobs and they are huge." lol...Thanks?
I am echoing all PP, yes I totally get the tingle as well as the strong sharp stabbing and dry itchy nipples. I have also been told the tingle is similar to how the key down of milk will feel. I've actually had it where it was a much stronger tingle and I started leaking pretty bad. I've also been leading without feeling that too.
It's all normal, not super comfortable but hey, whoever said anything in pregnancy is comfortable?
I exclusively pumped with my DS and that's how I knew when it was time, my nipples started pulsating. I don't remember having it happen while pregnant last time but I defiantly have been feeling it this time.
