Re: TTT-Ten Things Tuesday.
1. Yesterday I posted my TTC Check-in Update on my iPad and I realized after I posted it that all of the breaks and spaces that I had put in there had disappeared so it was just one huge rambling paragraph. I was annoyed, but not enough to do anything about it since I was also exhausted. Anyway, I know it was hard to read, so my apologies!
2. It is like a typhoon outside this morning. Torrential downpours and dark as night outside. My phone just went off that we have a flash flood warning and a tornado warning. I am glad I am already inside at my office. I am hoping it doesn't storm like this all day.
3. So, now that I have my full IVF protocol, things are feeling very real, and I am starting to get a bit scared. I know it will all work out, and all of the challenges will be well worth it, but I am definitely feeling a bit nervous about the whole thing. Only 5 more days until I start having at least one shot per day for the foreseeable future.
4. Speaking of shots every day... I learned yesterday that I will be on progesterone injections starting the day of my transfer, through the TWW, and then if I am pregnant until I am 10wks along. That is just standard practice at my RE's office for IVF, apparently. Any other IVFers have a similar protocol? I am looking forward to hopefully getting pregnant, but not looking forward to a shot everyday for almost 3 months...
5. Our dog, Reese, was sick over the weekend. We noticed a little blood in her stool and then she threw up and wouldn't eat. We took her to the vet on Sunday. My wife and I were both scared out of our minds that something was really wrong. That dog is our baby. Anyway, turns out they thinks she just has a very sensitive stomach and was mildly dehydrated. They gave her IV fluids, an injection of antibiotic just in case she had a stomach bug, and they told us to start giving her 1/4 a tablet of pepcid in her food. She is acting 100% like her old self, and I am so relieved.
6. I am not really feeling like being back at work today. I took off yesterday since we had 2 appointments at the RE's office in the middle of the day and just didn't want to have to deal with coming and going from work. 3-day weekend, combined with the weather this AM, is making me long for a another day off to sit on my couch in sweats with a blanket and my dog!
7. We have just about zero food at our house. We couldn't bring ourselves to go grocery shopping this weekend or yesterday, so we are down to like milk, ketchup and egg whites. HAHA. We are going to have to go to the store tonight...
8. My wife and I have been sharing a car for about a week. Her car is having mechanical problems (again!) and we don't want to pay to have it fixed right now since we just shelled out what feels like a zillion dollars for IVF (after having spent about $8k the last 5 months on failed IUIs)... so the well is pretty much dry for the moment. Anyway, I actually like sharing a car. J drops me off at work in the AM and then picks me back up at night. It forces her to get up and get out of the house earlier in the AM, and it gives us more time together. For now, I think it is doable, and I am liking it. Silver lining!
9. So it seems like 2mamaz, ball.and.chain and I will all have our transfers within days of each other if all goes according to plan for each of us. So exciting! I am hoping to be part of the next wave of pregnant peeps on this board soon. I have enjoyed my time sharing in the comraderie of the TTC journey, but I am so ready to hurry up and get knocked up!
10. I am running off to a meeting - this day is going to be totally nuts!
Me - 30, My wife - 31 , Together for 10 yrs - Married August 2012
5 medicated IUIs w/ RE (March - July 2013) = BFN
Fresh IVF Cycle in September 2013 resulted in 18 mature eggs, 16 fertilized, 12 made it to day 5. Transfer of 2 Grade A blastocysts on 9/15/13, and 10 embryos in the freezer! *****BFP on 9/25/13 - betas: @10dp5dt = 232; @12dp5dt = 465; @15dp5dt = 1,581 *********William George born June 4, 2014*********2. I have been running like a maniac. Pushing 20+ miles a week. It is incredibly relaxing and TTC rarely crosses my mind when my heart rate is over 130.
3. I have to work on Saturday, but Sunday should be a lazy day at home and I am looking forward to that.
4. A and I are starting to come up with creative ways to find or TTC process. We are now taking up buying wholesale lots and selling them on eBay. We will see how it goes.
5. I have completely changed my diet in the last week to help with TTC stuff. I am eating a lot of non-animal protein (no meat until after 6), lots of leafy greens, and I have cut caffeine out completely. Who knows if it will help make a baby, but feeling like I have a bit of control helps emotionally. Also... It has been helping out on the scale as well.
6. We are still moving forward in the house buying process.... Although slower than we would like.
7. In regards to #2, I finally asked our Nurse Midwife if running would affect TTC, and she said my distances were fine, but to not push the pace. Anybody else run while TTC? Advice?
8. Our garden is so full of tomatoes that I don't know if we can eat them all. Cherry tomatoes are my absolutely favorite.
9. All this talk about fall has me all jazzed! I am so excited about it.
10. I appreciate everyone's support during our journey. It's nice to have a group of people who get it. To those who have struggled with TTC, we find strength in your strength!
Baby Hayden Frances born 12/20/14 at 11:11 a.m... Our perfect little miracle. Here's how we got here:

1. Interesting article AXT - I struggled with all of the 'rules' - but followed them anyhow. And, when we lost the baby at 16w I at least felt like it wasn't my fault. So that was my reason - but honestly I agree, we are a little hyper vigilant about the pregnancy rules in the US.
2.KH - you should check out the IF board for advice on the PIOs. I know ball.and.chain's protocol involved them. Luckily my doctor opts for the vag suppository version of progesterone - studies show they are equally effective, it's just a preference of the RE I guess. Also - curious - my clinic requires 6 days of progesterone before ET - starting day of transfer and not before? I'd ask about that. What's your estrogen protocol?
3. doodah - Did you read VB6? J is doing it that now - vegan before 6 p.m. (eggs are her exception). It does seem to be a good way to get more fruit, veggies, beans, nuts, etc. into your diet! I'm not quite on board but trying.
4. My stupid hip has been acting up again big time. I have had two little meltdowns from being in such distracting, constant pain. It scares me to get pregnant and not be able to take advil. I'm doing PT, yoga for hips, and decided to make an appt. with an orthopedist for a good xray and potentially MRI before ET. Just to better understand what is going on in there.
5. We traded out a full size chicken we didn't really like (gave her to a friend who has a nice little hobby-size farm) and got a new little pullet, she's only 8 weeks like our other 'baby' but the flock is pecking her so we had to isolate her for a while. She's a Wyandotte - J wanted to name her Tammy, and in Tammy Wyandotte - but we used that name on our Maran, so we decided to call her Tammy 2 ala Ron Swanson.
6. I am really not thinking about our ET in the way I did before, of course, my protocol kicks in on 8/18 so I guess I'll think about it more then. The hip/pelvis pain has been consuming.
But maybe a good distraction in a way....
7. Tonight is our adoption info session! Because we are 0 for 2, and I'm trying to be realistic, we are exploring adoption options. The session is from 6-8 p.m., and this agency does foster-to-adopt and also relinquished newborns (but it'll cost ya!). Either way we are excited to learn about the process and our options.
8. We're well into House of Cards now that we blew threw Orange is the New Black in about a week. Netflix is SO SMART - I mean, most people can afford it which I love, unlike Showtime/HBO which requires a cable bill of $100+ it seems. Some really quality shows! I love Kevin Spacey, though the show isn't quite as good to me as OSTNB.
9. J brought me coffee in bed today! It's been SO long since she's done that when in the past, it was our routine. She's been understaffed and thus opening her one coffeshop almost daily for like a month (4 a.m. alarm - too early for me to have coffee). Anyhow, it felt decadent!
10. I'm excited for KH, ball.and.chain and our pregnancy pact. That is, we all promise to get pregnant and have full-term, healthy babies and moms. With that, lots of luck to GoaliesWife, and congrats to YBnormal - hopefully lots of baby dust is flying around this board for all of us!
Me (43) and J (45) - same sex couple. And we don't feel 40+!

EDD 8/20/14 with a baby girl!
Little S was born on 8/21/14 - 8lb, 14 oz and 20 inches long.
We live in Seattle and used SRM for our donor egg IVF cycle
2. This is fun/exciting and also funny. Funny because M has to fill out a form to change her name and has to sign it but just realized she hasn't practiced her new signature.
3. We got approved for our new apartment! We move in oct 1.
4. We are having a huge yard sale this weekend to try to downsize our stuff.
5. While we are excited about our new apartment it is bittersweet for several reasons including that we'd both imagined having kids in the house we are currently renting. But the cost of TTC is making us make less expensive choices.
6. Today is M's CD2 and we went to the clinic. She will be doing Clomid days 3-8 and we head back in on CD10 for monitoring.
7. I like this first week when we are actively TTC but don't have to go in to the clinic all the time.
8. We bought a used daybed today for our spare room/guest room. We have a queen bed in our guest room now and it takes up so much space and hardly ever gets used. This day bed has a trundle that will make it into a king bed, which makes me happy because I like the idea of our guests being comfy. It also has really mattresses not just thin foam ones.
9. I'm getting more and more used to the new format of the bump and can see some advantages to it. But I don't like that when I look on my phone it gives me the name of who responded most recently, not who started the thread. This can cause significant confusion for me on the news-based posts because I usually end up thinking that the news is from the person who replied most recently and whose name I saw while opening the post and reading its title.
10. It is hard for me to believe that herbabymama is is 25 weeks! It seems like just a few weeks ago that M and K were deciding to do partner IVF!
10.5 My phone thinks that "herbabymama" should be "herb gamma"
We're queer. I'm 33, have severe stage 4 endo, and had both fallopian tubes removed. My love ("Manada" on the boards, 32) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tavin and Casey at 21 weeks gestation.
Our IUIs
with @Manada: IUI# 1-7 (December 2012- September 2013) all BFN. Tried natural, femara, clomid, puregon/follistim, clomid and menopur combo, both the ovidrel and HCG triggers.
Our IVFs:
IVF #1 my eggs November/December 2013: Cancelled IVF due to poor response
IVF #2 my eggs/Manada's uterus January/February 2014
BCPs and lupron overlap Stimmed: 1/22-2/2: Bravelle and Menopur (dosage ranged from B300 and M150 to B375 and M150 to B300 and M225)
2/4 retrieved 10 eggs. Endo was much worse than expected. Only 3 eggs fertilized; February 7 transferred two day 3 embryos, froze one. All great condition.
BFP eve of 6dp3dt; Beta 1 (11dp3dt): 110; Beta 2 (13dp3dt): 175; Beta 3 (15dp3dt): 348; Beta 4 (19dp3dt): 2222; Beta 5 (21dp3dt): 4255
1st ultrasound (3/6 6w 1d): TWINS!!!! Twin A measuring 6w1d with a heartbeat of 118bpm. Twin B measuring 6w0d with a heartbeat of 113bpm.
***July 18, 2014 we lost our beautiful babies at 21 weeks gestation. They were born too early. Tavin Sara T. and Casey Elizabeth T. are beautiful and precious and we will love them and miss them forever.***
FET #1 December 2014
@ATXmommas: A friend of mine (who grew up in Indiana) was complaining last March that she couldn’t hold her party outside because it was too cold at 70 degrees. I promptly informed her about the wet, slushy snow falling rapidly outside my window on the first day of spring. I can’t even imagine the kind of heat that would make 70 feel cool!
@KH826: good luck with the IVF! FX that this works for you and that we see several BFPs including yours, 2mamaz, and ball.and.chain.
@GoaliesWife: DP and I have been fantasizing about a new couch for months. We plan to get one in February after our tax refunds – and we’re getting new carpet for the living room. I am very, very much looking forward to it. Couches are important!
@Doodah1013: I’m jealous of your tomato bounty. I live in a condo with deep shade in the back and bright sun in the front, but the little patches of ground I have to work with are clumpy, red clay and that’s really not conducive to veggie growing. I tried potting them but… the sun baked the water right out of the soil and I have no hose. Sigh.
@2mamaz: Thinking of you and your journey, and again wishing you all baby dust!
As for my 10 things...
1) My to-do list at work is long and is stressing me out. Such is the beginning of the academic year!
2) On the topic of weather, it's been quite mild here which is surprising. Usually our summers are hot, wet, and relentless. This year has been surprisingly cool.
3) I'm getting my ultrasound to check my eggs on the same day that I have a really important meeting and a big event I'm responsible for. I complained about this earlier, but I'm complaining again. Argh!
4) I'm hoping the doctor will just say "Hey, eggs aren't ready yet - let's check again in a week!" then I can breathe a sigh of relief and do my job without distraction.
5) But since I'm notoriously unlucky, he'll probably tell me to come in on one of my other ultra-busy and stressful days for the IUI and I'll have to pray nothing goes wrong in my absence. I worry way more than I probably need to.
6) In any case, if it doesn't happen this month there's always next month
I have that to fall back on, at least! We have three vials in storage so that's three shots. Then after that we'll have to find a new donor because our donor is currently "sibling only" purchases of what he has left, because he's reached his max insemination limit of 20.
7) I take that as good news that his swimmers are good and strong. If he's successfully reached his limit within the time we bought his vials, chances are in our favor that we'll get a BFP (assuming there's nothing wrong with my goods).
8) I should eat something but I really don't want to. Hey, no fat-girl talk this time! My appetite always tanks after my period's over. I'm sure it will come roaring back eventually.
9) I'm going to my friend's lakehouse this weekend with a bunch of other friends (from DP's childhood). They're lots of fun, and deeply curious about our TTC journey so I'll share updates with them this weekend.
10) The girls' husbands love DP and I because we drink beer and are boisterous. This may be one of my last weekends to enjoy craft brews and be obnoxious! Here's hoping!
@doodah - sent you a PM about running!
@2Mamaz - I followed all the rules to a T during my first pregnancy. I just felt super pissed that despite being super vigilant, nothing I did could have prevented my baby from having a fatal chromosomal abnormality. I was much more relaxed the second time. Kept drinking caffeine until I knew I was pregnant (then started again in second tri) and drank some wine even a few days after IUI. Coffee is my only indulgence now and my OB practice is ok with drinking as much caffiene as pre-pregnancy.
@lbugher - I prefer 105 to snow any day! But, haven't had to go through a summer this pregnant before. It's having a much bigger impact on me this year.
2. Being back at work after a vacation is hard!
3. I trained our cat to sit! My sister also taught her a trick while we were on vacation but they haven’t showed me yet.
4. I just got a phone call scheduling my hysteroscopy for a week from today. Bring it on, uterus!
5. @doodah – I ran regularly throughout the first year and a half I was TTC (basically when I was doing IUIs). I still run but it’s been less regular since I started IVF last fall (due to meds, operations, miscarriages, pregnancies, injuries, depression, etc). My RE never had a problem with my running. I have read a theory that some women’s fertility is affected by any exercise at all (as opposed to most women whose fertility is only affected by extreme exercise/low body weight), but I don’t know if I believe it. Certainly I did not have very much luck getting pregnant, but there are a lot of possible explanations for that.
6. It’s about to pour and I forgot to move my umbrella from my vacation bag back into my work bag. Whoops.
7. I was going to go for a walk and go to the farmer’s market on my lunch break, but because of #6 I decided to head back inside and do TTT instead.
8. @KH826 – my RE puts IVF patients on progesterone injections AND suppositories simultaneously, which royally sucks because it’s painful AND disgusting. I’ve had totally different experiences with PIO in my fresh cycle and my first FET, but the bottom line is that it’s no picnic but it probably isn’t as bad as you think it’s going to be. Totally worth it in the end if it results in a successful pregnancy – just one more thing to bitch about if it doesn’t.
9. Wifey and I came up with a second girl name in case we have g/g twins, but a second boy name is proving tricky. If we have twins we are just going to have to have at least one girl.
10. Am I the only one who is creeped out by the uncensored nudie version of the “Blurred Lines” video?
9 IUIs = 9 BFNs
IVF October 2012: 22 eggs retrieved, 17 fertilized, 5 frozen
ET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Blighted ovum discovered at 7w5d; D&E
FET #1: 1 blast = BFP; Missed m/c discovered at 9w5d; D&E
Karyotyping: normal ~ RPL Testing: normal ~ Hysteroscopy: normal
FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!

*Everyone welcome*
1. My niece and I tried a new park this morning. I don't think she cares either way (she's 10 months) but it sure is nice for a change of scenery for me.
2. It looks like its threatening rain here...If its going to storm I would rather it storm big time instead of just being gloomy.
3. I have been doing low carb and while I am enjoying it and I am seeing results, its not going fast enough for me!
4. I just started a new job and it is a little overwhelming...I am working from home and I am not quite sure where to start!
5. I cleaned out our fridge this morning...we might as well be throwing money directly into the trash...
6. I'm excited for this weekend because we aren't traveling anywhere.
7. I have a facination with food trucks and there is a food truck festival in town this weekend and I hope we get to go!
8. One of my very best friends from college is having a big 30 party this weekend and I can't make it...I feel bad but its 5 hours away and thats a lot of gas money and we just can't swing it.
9. We are in the process of buying a house but we are doing a lot of waiting for other people...its irritating. We aren't using a realtor and I can see the value of using a realtor now.
10. I can't seem to get our house at a reasonable temperature! Its freezing and then its hot and I can't find the happy medium!

1. Well I'm updating from the couch on modified bed rest until we get my blood test results back for gestational high blood pressure, pre-e, and whatever else related. I had one big spike and while it is vascilating, it's mostly very good still and hasn't gotten to a crazy place since Saturday. Another appt tomorrow for follow up. I think everything is fine.
2. I missed my CPR class last night. Doctors orders. I hope I'll be able to take it before the baby comes
3. Since most have commented on weather I can't help myself... It has been so crazy mild this summer. And we had national news here just a couple of days ago to cover the flooding. I remember summers where it didn't rain for 100 days and all that. I'm thankful to be 8.5 months pregnant in such a mild summer!
4. I just starred watching call the midwife on Netflix. Maybe I should hold off... Once again trying to plan ahead and save things up for those middle Of the night feelings I'm prepared for.
5. S's birthday is Saturday and its always so hard to buy for her. And with money being tight while getting ready for the baby, I actually cried that I wouldn't be able to make it special. I'm at a total loss as to what to do, but I'm still trying to consider my options.
6. In related news, we are shopping for digital SLR cameras for video too and I just want to make the right decision. We both feel strongly about documenting our baby's life appropriately. We're both people who don't have a ton of pics of ourselves, but we know we'll have tons of this LO
7. We have started planning out and shopping for newborn pics stuff. I had no idea there was such an industry of baby hats and wraps, etc! It's all so cute. I've also been saving pics I like for ideas as well.
8. I'm tired. I won't lie... Since I hit 32 weeks I've probably taken a 20 minute nap on at least half of my work days. I'm surprised by how much it helps
9. Healz, it's funny bc after I changed my name last week I went to the bank and they asked me to sign some stuff... I laughed and had to practice my new name before officially putting it down at the bank
10. ATX, this baby moves so much and the second I bring it up to S, she stops. There have been a few moments where her voice has brought baby movement but I hate that S misses so much of it!
2) I have tried 3 times with 3 emails to change my username to something other than my name!
3) I'm J and the wife is K
4) We are TTC #1
5) I guess 4 is a lie because we got a BFP a week ago
6) we are pretty sure already we are having a boy because that's all that our donor has produced through stalking of CCB
7) our first u/s is the 26th and we won't tell friends or family until after that!
8) our BFP came after the 3rd medicated and monitored IUI
9) I had not one symptom and thought AF was on her way
10) I think the reason I'm not comfortable telling people is because I still don't have symptoms but that is probably just a blessing!!!
Nice to meet you all
I always try and comment on other people's TTT's and by the time I go to start my post I forget stuff. So I started something new today and decided to make more of an effort.
songbird31 I totally understand being stressed about your SO birthday and having no money. I just went thru this last month. I made her dinner on her birthday and the weekend before we had a cook out with friends. She appreciated the effort.
healz413 we changed our last names when we got married and I didn’t practice at all before. So the first time I signed it was on our marriage license. It has been a process changing everything, but now I forget how to sign my maiden name. haha
GoaliesWife123 I know the excitement of new furniture. I don’t mind our couch, but I would die for a new bed.
@Trisholio - I had severe PMS on Monday and started crying and couldn't stop. Without any real provocation. It's embarrassing trying to explain to someone why you're crying when you're not even sure yourself. I have a feeling this is just a taste of what's to come with my impending pregnancy...
That being said, regardless of how I actually feel, DP and I are going to lie to our smug mommy friends that I'm having the easiest, best pregnancy ever. They keep telling us horror stories to scare us so I'm gonna stick it back to 'em and make them think it's a breeze for me. Petty? Yes. But that's how I roll
2. My shoulders and upper back have been really hurting today. Not really sure why, but it is annoying.
3. C's car had a leak in the fuel rail and we just got it back today. Our rental vehicle was a 2013 Chevy Silverado. I have wanted a Silverado since I was about 10 years old. I loved every minute of driving it and was sad to return it today.
4. In keeping with the weather theme, it is surprisingly cold today for it being August. I love Fall but I don't want to rush summer either.
5. I am mildly annoyed with the place that holds the mortgage to our house. We need to replace the floor in the mudroom (I fell through a soft spot back in January) and I wrote a letter requesting the money over two months ago. Still no word. It is a private foundation that holds the loan and they take forever even cashing our checks.
6. I started Weight Watchers with my mom back in January and my progress leaves something to be desired. I have done it before and I did so well. This time it has been much harder.
7. Being overweight has me nervous about pregnancy. We cannot afford for me to be off long term. We always find a way to make any situation work though.
8. I am looking forward to my sonogram on Friday. I'm hoping that there will be a few follicles of desired size and that my lining will be where it needs to be.
9. I wish my RE's office wasn't so far away. We live out in the country and have to travel 1.5 hours one way for our RE. My appt is at 7 am so that I can get back in time for work, or only be an hour late at the most. It makes for a long day. Certainly the hopeful end product will be completely worth it.
10. I bought this house over 4 years ago. It belonged to my Grandma and then she passed away. We need to work on paring down on items before we have a baby. Many items of my Grandma's are still here, plus my stuff and C's stuff when she moved in. I'm finally ready to begin parting with things and decluttering. It is going to be a process but I know I will feel better after it is all done. And it will keep me busy during our TWW.
Me: 30 DW (aka C): 29
Together since 2/15/11 ~ Legally married in NY on 9/29/12
***CP mentioned***
We've been working on baby #1 since July 2013 using Open ID donor sperm. 8 IUI attempts with 5 actual IUIs and one chemical pregnancy. We have one fresh IVF cycle under our belts as well as a FET. I have endometriosis and a uterine septum that was corrected via surgery in November 2013.
11/14/14 - Second HSG shows that tubes are still clear and ute is looking good.
12/6/14 - Started BCPs in prep for IVF #2
12/22/14 - Saline u/s and endometrial scratch (All was clear and OUCH!)
1/2/15 - Began stimming for IVF #2

And also HBM, I feel behind the 8 ball on the pediatrician thing and you have put me to shame on his one! I appreciate the reminder! I need to at least call the couple of referrals I've gotten and make sure they aren't homophobic.
1. Back at work after a nice week off spent with my awesome Mom! We got me registered and it was fun to do it with her. I already miss her though.
2. It has been raining and thundering since this afternoon, such strange weather for the D/FW area but I'm not complaining at all!
3. My belly is stretching!!! I know when bean goes through a growth spurt because my guts get all achy and feel stretched to the max. I know, I know...just wait!
4. I was going through emails today when I got to work, and my boss assigned me to do a presentation at a conference by the end of September. Pregnancy hormones took over and I walked into his office and told him that there is nothing that causes me more anxiety than public speaking and that I would appreciate it if I didn't have to give a 60 minute talk. I had tears welling up in my eyes, and he said "Okay, you don't have to do it.. don't cry, it isn't good for the baby!" Yay!!! The rest of my day was way better after that little talk.
5. I can't wait until fall!! I love October through the beginning of the year. I can't wait until I have a little one to dress up for Halloween, and all the other fun things that you get to experience with little ones.
6. My little four-legged baby, Molly, has been itching like crazy for the past few weeks. The vet put her on prescription diet food because she was on prednisone for weeks after a back injury. I am going to see if she could be allergic to the food, seeing as she has a reaction to even getting her shots. She is still her cute little self, but when she scratches, it sounds like Thumper is in my house.
7. My sister-in-law and I had a conversation about how to know when you are ovulating. Her and my brother are about to start trying for a second child, and she knows that I have the whole baby making process down to a science. It was a funny thing to talk to her about, but I was happy to help her out.
8. I go in next week for my gestational diabetes testing, and I hope I get to see my little bean again
9. Sleeping is getting interesting. He doesn't like certain positions and kicks me when I squish him lol. It is cute right now, and I am sure the bigger I get it will be begging for comfortable sleep.
10. I wish the Texas Rangers would kick butt and take names!!

2. I am in my new office and in my new job and am totally loving it! I have moved from doing Learning Support programming to Academic Advising and have had a blast meeting with students all this week to discuss their plans and goals.
3. I have had more appreciation from students, and been told I'm "awesome" by them more in the past 3 days than I have ever had a my job here. Appreciation is nice!
4. I am currently on CD 4 of this cycle, and am taking 100mg of Clomid days 3-8 of my cycle. I'm a little weirded out that we are doing 6 days of clomid this time rather than 5 days, but whatever.
5. I just realized this morning that the hayfever season is starting up. I'm dreading not being able to take the antihistamines this cycle as it ramps up.
6. H. and I are trying not to tell too many people about these 2 iui cycles we're throwing in. It's because I don't want to get my "hopes" up too much, and I don't want people to get all optimistic around me and ask about it all the time... it's still hard not to talk about sometimes though.
7. While it's hard not to talk about it - I really do appreciate that all my conversations aren't revolving around TTC and Infertility.
8. I'm sad that Orange is the New Black only has one season so far... we powered through it and got hooked and are now without a show to watch!
9. H. and I are having a yard sale this weekend before our move --- we have a ton of stuff to get rid of and at the moment it's ALL sitting in our living room! I can't wait until it's gone and our house is cleared out!
10. I have the day off tomorrow. I'm stoked to relax a bit, organize the house, and get ready for our sale!
