So I met my baby niece this weekend....

and it reinforced my desire to wait a couple years to have kids. My sister is visiting from North Carolina with her 4 month old. Don't get me wrong she was absolutely adorable and I loved snuggling her. But she was also uncontrollably fussy at times and very high maintenance. It reminded me of what I hated about the first couple months. I will get my snugly baby fix and then hand her right back to mom.

    I'm in the same boat!  We've always said we wanted 3 or 4 kids, but now that I have DD, I just want to love on her.  She's a very even-tempered child, and is smiley most of the time... Has STTN since 6 months old... Obviously the first 2 months were a hard adjustment, and the overnight wakeups + BFing were difficult and made me want to cry - but now that she's at a fun age, I just want to enjoy her :)

    See...I'm the opposite. We had nursery at church this week and there was this little boy who was probably 3 or 4 months old, and he was so snuggly...it made me want another one b/c DD is crawling now and doesn't want to snuggle much anymore...but, she was a very easy baby once DH and I learned a little about her personality, so maybe that's why.
