Keep your fingers crossed

I was scheduled for a BPP and to talk about induction possibilities at the hospital at 1 today but woke up at 4 this morning to pressure waves coming about 20 minutes apart lasting about 30 seconds now they're about 55 second long and around 6-6.5 minutes apart but they don't seem to be getting any more intense. I'm trying not to stress out about the possibility of them stopping. I'm hoping to be able to birth at my birthing center like I had planned. Wish me luck and send zen thoughts my way and hopefully I will be writing my birth story very soon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

    I hope things pick up and you are able to birth at the center.  Maybe try some walking or nipple stimulation to help things pick up.  I am sending lots of positive labor thoughts your way!  GL!

    Hey, good luck! Conserve your energy just in case it's the real thing.
    And FWIW, contractions didn't get more intense for me for awhile with my first, they just got closer together. Keep us updated!

    thanks ladies! great ideas @aylafsu88, I might try pumping after I eat something. It's reassuring to hear they don't have to be getting more intense for them to be genuine @nosoup4u. I will keep you updated.

    Waves are still coming pretty consistently about 6-7 minutes apart so I'm pretty sure they won't quit. Now I just hope they will work quickly and get me through the process in a reasonable time frame. I'll try to continue updates as things develop.

    No baby yet but she should be here sometime today. Pressure waves are still going strong. C'mon cervix, catch up.
