Best Books to Read as a First Time Mommy?!

Any suggestions? My sister is pregnant for the first time and I'd love to buy her some good books that would be useful to read before the baby is born (December!)

  • Happiest Baby on the Block, So that's what they're for, and I highly recommend the What to Expect series for during pregnancy, the first year and there is eating well when you're expecting

  • Mayo Clinic's Guide to the First Year....it's no bull, very straight forward and has a much better set-up than the "What to Expect" Series.

I just read Ina May's Guide to childbirth and loved it! If she is considering at all a natural birth or just wants to know about it, it's an awesome book. :)
Oh, and someone gave me, I think it was called "belly laughs" by Jenny McCarthy about when she was pregnant. It's just funny. So if she wants a simple read that will make her laugh, that is a fun one. I almost peed my pants and laughed till I cried at a couple parts. :)
