I had a terrible experience when I delivered my son and I am looking for a new OB/GYN. I am looking for a doctor that is affiliated with St. Barnabas Hospital. Ideally, there will be at least four doctors in the practice and one of them will actually be there when I deliver! I want someone who knows me, not some random doctor that just happened to be on call. All suggestions are welcome!
I LOVE my OB/GYN. Dr. Lisa Hayes at Associates in OB/Gyn & Infertility in West Orange. If she's not available, I've also seen Dr. Linda Luisi - Purdue (she delivered my son at St. Barnabas) and Dr. Stephen Crane. They are all really good and I've always had a great experience.
I also go to the same practice.. Dr. Krane delivered my baby and he was amazing.. I've also seen purdu and hayes and they are good too.. there's also Hamilton & russo.. they're all in the same practice located in west orange & work out of st. barnabas. Good luck!!
Went to Craneliked him, but that practice was way too big! Couldn't even get someone to call me with blood results after 3 days. And waited 3 mins on hold which turned out to be emergency linenot thrilled.
Thanks for feedback though :
I go to Roseland OBGyn - specifically I see Dr. DeAngelis. The practice is actually in Watchung, but he delivers at both St. Barnabas and Somerset. There are 2 doctors and a midwife there. So far I have seen my doctor and the midwife, but the office made a point of telling me I will see all 3 so I will know them all when I deliver.
I switched to them from a practice that was large and I didn't feel I got any personal treatment. Here, I feel they remember what's going on, and treat me very well. I couldn't be happier so far (I am about 14 weeks pregnant, and have been seeing this doctor for just under a year)
I go to Contemporary Women's Care. I see Dr. Sadural usually, but it is a decent size practice with several doctors. I've seen three different docs so far - all awesome. They are great with fielding questions and I've never had a bad encounter with any one on staff.
I go to Richard Luciani at Millburn OBGYN and I'd give him my child if he asked for it. I love him. He responds to phone calls, emails, explains things, refers to specialists, gives all of your options and I will never go to another OBGYN.
Womens Physicians and surgeons are fanastic! Delivered my son and will deliver this baby. They deal w everything and are top notch if you google you will see. They are affiliated with robert wood johnson and do deliveries at Centra State hosp. in Freehold
Contemporary Women's Care has offices in Kearny, West Orange, or Westfield. I have seen all the doctors in the practice but primarily see Dr. Zuniga. She is wonderful. Dr. Surmelli delivered my son and was equally amazing...can't go wrong. Good luck!!
