  A FF baby most likely would not have survived the auto accident that nearly killed my DH. If I had my way Lila would RF until she no longer needs to be in a carseat.

  Or the we didn't even have car seats when you were born. We carried babies home on our laps.
  DD1 was turned at 1. Research is a wonderful thing. Sometimes it comes leaps and bounds in a short time.

  Jayson is SO happy RF. He can see out kf the windows still, and mostly makes faces at himself in the mirror he has back there. (My OMGISMYKIDSTILLALIVE mirror.) I don't see the big rush to FF.

  I used to sit on my dad's lap and drive. Maybe I should try it with Kate because she hates the carseat with a vengeance. I mean, I'm still alive and that was before airbags.

  I plan on keeping Mina rear facing as long as possible. I drive a Beetle and in order to put her in her carseat I have to climb in the backseat with her. It is horribly inconvenient but SHE is safe and that is what matters.

  I'm with LD. I drive a Cruze that I bought a month before I knew I was pregnant and it's terribly difficult to maneuver her and I in the car seat. We do what ever we have to do to keep the little ones safe. Her safety is my responsibility.
